In May 2024, Microsoft Suddenly closed Tango Gameworks, Hi-Fi Rush, Ghostwire: Tokyo, and studio behind Evil within the series. However, his death was short-lived, as publisher Krafton acquired the rights of studio and Hi-Fi Rush IP in August a few months later. Today, Tango is officially back into operation and is ready for its next title.

Given that Tango retains the Hi-Fi Rush IP (Microsoft still owns the rights of Ghostwire and the rights of Ghostwire: Tokyo), a sequel to the 2023 hit may be in the card, but it will probably be good, while we learn what this new project is.
