Please give us a lift pitch for shoot
Shoot There is a professional photography market. We say the Central Park in New York City that we set up a photographer station somewhere, and tell the customers that they will stay there from 12 to 5, and they can book a half -hour session. Now things are different here: With most other platforms, you have to pay the front for a photo session. But it is risk-free with the shoot. You do not really need to pay for anything until you do not see your photos and decide that you want them, which you receive in three to five business days. You only pay for photos you want.
Where did the idea come from?
I have an artistic background, and I have a business background. And when I was working as an artist, I saw a lot of artists living Gig-to-Gig. Many could not earn enough money and had to leave. So we were like this, what if we can make a business model that can help artists live? He was the complete inspiration behind it. Let us provide a platform to the artists that will bring in the quantity of work. They do what they are good, and we do all business activities for them.
As an artist, how is it focusing on part of the business?
I worked in investment banking in corporate finance for a few years, before I decide that I want to try to become an artist. So I took acting classes, dance classes, I built a documentary, I planned weddings. I had all different types of experiences, and I mashed everything together to make it.
What was your success moment?
We really thought for the first time that the impressers would use us, and some did, but we could not speed what we wanted. It was not until we tested the sessions in Hobocaines that we really hit the fact that these are all families. We realized that mothers usually are taking photos on holiday, so it was great for them. We are taking pictures of 50 families at the end of a week. It was very crazy. When we know, we like a real need and want to have family pictures. We started targeting the neighborhood with a lot of children and public parks that were convenient for parents. We especially started advertising towards mothers and felt, our goal is demographic.

What is your growth?
In a year, we created something like $ 80,000. In the year five, we hit Breakeven. And then the following year, which was 2024, we were at the top line of $ 10 million, and were close to one million in profitability. So we have our profitability 20x-Ed. This surprised us. We were like, “Oh, we didn’t know we could do it!” We started with just three of us, and now we have 12 full -time people and five part -time people. We are in 60 cities across the US, working with around 750 photographers.
How do you build your network of photographers?
We have a Refer-e-friendship program with our photographers. And we reach all the platforms where photographers are looking for work. We had one of the biggest challenges to educate photographers about our free photo shoot offer. Some admitted that we were scaming them. But we are very transparent about how it works, and last year, our photographers have made average between $ 166 and $ 199 per hour, and they do not have to do any business goods. They only do what they love. So if you want to make additional cash and you are a good photographer, it is easy.
What is your best advice for other business owners to promote that large speed?
Try new ideas and do them faster. Not taking your business personally is really important. This is really like this strange attention experience where you keep what you are serving and let what you don’t do, and you don’t worry about it. And every day it is the same process again and again.
There is something that many people think they need to start a business, but really not needed?
I think many people want to feel sure and feel confident before starting. And I have seen that many people are really stuck in their head, and you never want to live in that energy. You want to a hypothesis and test it. Just try to do the stuff. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. I think a lot of people like, ‘What will happen if I do this wrong?’ I do not even think about it. I like, ‘Let’s try it. Let’s try. ‘You want the mentality of experiment. Try it on a small scale and overthrow it.
Do you have a mantra or quotation that helps to inspire you during difficult times?
I did not even realize that I did this, my co-founder pointed it. I am working, and I whispered, ‘I think I can, I think I can, I think I can do’ Small engine that could have doneYou know, sometimes things look very heavy, but you have to keep going!
