Now who needs cable TV? Thanks to the wealth of streaming apps, you have options to view more on-demand than ever. And they are also available on a wide range of streaming apps such as Disney+, Netflix and Max Hardware. Roku, Apple TV and Google TV (Aka Chromecast) let you watch thousands of movies and TV shows on the touch of a button, although we will argue that it is better to watch all your favorite on a big screen TV to watch it on a small laptop or smartphone screen.
But instead there is at least one major reason for Amazon going with fire TV. Unlike archery Roku, Amazon’s fire TV system offer VPN Apps directly through your built -in app store. This is important if you want to watch a show or film which is otherwise unavailable in your country. Fire a VPN, set your virtual location and you will find a separate set of options to see on many streaming services – or the ability to reach those who did not have otherwise access. We will tell the details and tell you how it works.
Choose the right VPN for your fire TV
For the beginning, we are going to assume that you have a fire TV device. If you don’t, we have good news: if your TV is not already Fire tv streaming built-inAd-on devices are often less on sales on Amazon to $ 25 or less. Grab Fire Stick 4K Max If you want a good balance of value versus performance – just make sure that it is on sale for $ 40 or less. Once you set your fire TV hardware, it is time to choose a VPN – and that’s the place where the fire TV operating system shines. A long list of VPN, including all our current top pics for the best VPN, are available on the platform and they are easy to download and install as any video app.
Currently included in Engadget-approved VPN available on Fire TV:
-
Protonvpn
-
Expressvpn
-
Surfshark
We will leave it to do research, which VPN provides the best combination of features and value for you, but a word of warning: With the exception of the first two listed above, we do not recommend using a free VPN, as they are notorious for collecting and selling their data, which sell advertising network to fund advertising networks. Note that all the VPN you want on fire TV can install, if you want to cross them on your holiday.
VPN installing
Once you know which fire TV VPN you want to use, it is easy to install. Go to Search> On the main menu and just find the name of your favorite VPN – if you want to scroll through all the options available, just type “VPN”. There, you can find the service you want (or already subscribed) and start installing. The process should not be too long. Once it is completed, you are ready to start using it.
Using your fire TV VPN
Once you download the app, navigate it on your fire TV dashboard. You have to enter your user name and password or sign up to create an account. Some VPN may need to create an account on your smartphone or computer in advance.
Once logged in, you can either click on the “Connect” button on your VPN or browse the server list on which country you want to make a tunnel. Once connected, return to the fire TV home screen and re -load the streaming platform of your choice to verify the content when separated. If this is, your VPN is working and you are ready to stream.
