    Returing your PC at least once a week allows Windows 11 to install and implement available updates. If you do not normally reboot your PC, you can automate the process using some methods.

    Use task scheduler to automate PC Restart

    One way to schedule the restart of your Windows 11 PC is to use task scheduler. This inherent utility allows you to create a task that closes and back on your machine on specified time and date.

    To use it, open Windows (Press Windows+S), Type task SchedulerAnd launch utility. On the right pane, click “Create original function”. On the open window, choose the “name” field and write a name for your work.     What is the meaning of each parameter here:

    • R: This parameter restarts your PC.
    • F: This parameter forces any running app.
    • T.: This ensures that there is no delay in rebooting your PC.

    Choose “Finnish” to save your task.

    From now on, the task scheduler will automatically reboot your PC on a specified day and time.

    If you want to run the task only when your computer is inactive (when you are not using it), right-click the work in the work schedule and choose “properties”. Open and enable the “Terms” tabs “start the task only when the computer is inactive.” Choose the duration of the time that must be inactive to the task to kick your PC. Then, choose “Okay”.

    In the future, if you want to stop the automatic restart of your PC, you can stop or remove your work. Find your work in task scheduler and right-click it. To prevent work, choose “disabled”. To remove the work for good, choose “remove”.
