According to NBN CO, new schemes are rolling on September 14, 2025. However, this will be the date that plans for retail service providers will be available, not necessarily consumers. Keeping this in mind, we appropriately expect that NBN 2000 schemes will be widely available for residential properties and businesses by October.
How fast will the NBN 2000 schemes really be?
The NBN 2000 schemes will provide a maximum of 2,000Mbps download to double the current fastest speed of 1,000Mbps. Upload speed is also expected to increase compared to NBN 1000 schemes, when reaching 200Mbps; However, it is required only for FTTP connection.

What will be the cost of an NBN 2000 scheme?
If we are becoming honest here, it is difficult for the average consumer to estimate the cost of NBN 2000 schemes. What do we know that wholesale schemes will be sold for RSPS for AU $ 115P/M. Based on this information alone, we hope that the consumer cost will be far higher.
