Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) hit the mainstream as a new paradigm of productivity, but here we have been only three years, but here we are – it is everywhere.
I test the AI Tool as part of my work. I will dig about any AI-related technology and see what I can do it. Many of you have read my ongoing shootout with other types of tools compared to AIS for programming and AI content checkers.
But it is using AI in a rigid laboratory environment to provide ZDNET readers the results of the test. Like many of you, I have started using AI to increase my workflow and increase your productivity.

I wear a lot of hats; I run a small business with my wife, which also has my own business, where I am a technical man and designer. I also work with many industry groups. I have a fairly popular safety software product for WordPress users. And I am constantly working on projects, printing the 3D to the final charging tower, trying to create an A-Assisted ETS store, composition and publishing music, and using AI to help some marketing activities.
I should note that I never, sometimes I use AI to produce my main material. No article, song, or social media posts have ever been written using AI Tools. My work is my product. But I use AI to help me through other aspects of my charge.
I have special interest in how AI helps in programming, how to support AI graphics work, and how to support AI video production.
Here are the equipment for which I am willing to pay – and why.
1. Chatgate Plus – $ 20/Mo
Talking about AI and programming, it has essentially doubled my programming output. I use AI to help me with common knowledge programming. I talked deeply about it in my 25 Tips article, but the main advantage is getting a chatgate to write code for the published API, so I do not want to spend time in search of code examples and trying reverse-engineer comments on various programming boards.
And yes, I mentioned the chat. While more chatbots capable of passing my programming tests have been introduced in the previous year, the chatgipt does the job well, and O, who wants another monthly fee?

In fact, this is a big part why I am paying Chat plus for $ 20/moCertainly, I have signed up and some other AIS have paid them just to test them, but the chatgipt plus is the only chatbot that I have found so consistently useful that I keep it as a regular used tool.
I use chats for a lot of research tasks, sometimes throwing mathematics problems on it, and I am working with all kinds of questions and problems. While I never take its output as an uncontrolled source of truth, I find the chatter as a very useful sounding board, much higher than a quick Google search.
Now, to be fair, I have designed five ways that can help me in an AI Gmail. If Gemini can do these things firmly, I will sign up back into the heartbeat. But I do not need the current email message that I am studying briefly, and I am sure that whatever I have written in the present, there is no need to write a friend or more professional version of what I have written in the present. I tried Gmail’s new AI unlawful feature, and it only got about 10 newsletters, yet I get thousands of emails and hundreds of newsletter-style messages every day. So, I am leaving that one.
2. Midzorney – $ 10/Mo
I played a lot with Dal-E, the first image generation tool of Chatgate. But recently, Openai introduced a new image generator in GPT-4o, and it is quite animal. I found that it produces great results, but it has more railings than another equipment paid by me, Midzorani,

But even though I get the image generation with my $ 20/Mo chatgate plus fee, I pay the additional $ 10/Mo for mid -jorney. Why?
One of the reasons is subjective. I like a lot of images that I get with midzorney. The midzorney also allows me to describe the artist styles, and lets me overcome a huge array of stylistic options. Chatgpt, perhaps due to the railing installed by Openai, does not exist as many options.
But I also have two specific and purposeful reasons for paying for midzorney. First of all, because the image generation is so subjective, it is good to have a variety of equipment while representing whatever is in your head. I will try different signs and even give the same signal with both devices and will take what the best works.

Second, every month I generate a pracharak image for my wife’s online business. It has an e-commerce site that supports a popular hobby. Every month, on his very active Facebook group, he gives his users a craft along with the theme. I create an image for that subject. In a few months, I have found that the midzorney works a better job of creating an image that incorporates elements of hobbies. He said, a few months I bounce back and forth between the two devices until I can find an image that meets the needs of his business.
Because the midzorney worked for two to three hours of pushing the pixel into Photoshop to generate those images for about 10 minutes, it is worth $ 10/month for me for that project.
Photoshop Generic Phill – Honorable Mention
In the title of this article, I said that I pay for two AI devices. This is true. I pay for Adobe’s Creative Cloud Suit besides the chipt plus and midzoni. But ever since I have been using and paying for creative clouds – and before that, Photoshop – Long Earlier was the genetic filler, I am not counting it to my AI Tools list.

If Adobe removed the generic Phil tomorrow, I will still pay for Photoshop. To be clear, I do not like to pay for it. It is expensive, and a two-computer license limit is restrictive. But a few years ago, I tried to switch to the affinity photo, which was $ 50 at that time (this is now $ 70). It pays a one -time fee broadly for creative clouds every month, so it had a lot of capacity.
To be clear, the efficiency photo is a good application. But I am using Photoshop before the Clinton administration. To say that I have a photoshop muscle memory an understanding. This is a product that I use almost every day. Switch to another application, while I could have done it if I had to do it, then slowed down my workflow.

Therefore, I do not consider my monthly expenses for AI expenses for creative clouds. He said, I find the generative phil (and its various other AI tricks) very helpful. I often use it in a concert with mid -jorney and chatgpt image generation.
Three equipment I am thinking about
I run a business online and thus, rely on a wide variety of cloud services. They add those fees, and now they are all going to the price. So while adding more AI devices can be good, I am keeping it under control. It is very easy to click only right and find yourself spending hundreds of dollars more every month.
He said, I am thinking about adding three more equipment. I am a little hesitant, because each has its own annoyance and limitations, but they are in a small list for a quick order if I can ever justify immediate performance improvement on a project or another.
Perception AI
The first is Perception AII am investing deeply in perception for all my project tasks. I also use it to write and organize all my articles, as well as schedule them, plan them, research them, and catch notes and assets. Dharna AI is interesting because it will act like a notebook, limiting the basis of its knowledge to my perception account. This can be very useful because I work on more projects. But at one point, when Dharna ended my wife’s account, they were completely unable and incompatible. Therefore, I hesitate to give them more business.
Notebooklam Pro
Google’s Notebook Commal Pro There is another contender. Now that pocket, article collection service, is being closed, I considered using the Notebook Lum Pro as a replacement. The idea that I can save the articles in the notebook as sources and then AI can review them, submit them briefly, and their analysis seemed ideal, especially as a research tool.
But … the free version of the notebook form allows only 50 sources per notebook. The Pro version, which is usually another $ 20/Mo (you can usually get some starter month at a discounted rate), increases that limit, but only 300 sources per notebook per notebook. My archives have more than 30,000 sources, which is beyond the limit of the notebook. There is a $ 249/month plan (Yowzah!), But All Google will say about boundaries “The highest border and best model abilities (later this year)”. What does that even mean?

The descript automatically removes the filler words and retakes, cleans the sound quality without any disturbance, and edits automated multicams. It promises to take long-time videos and create a clip video automatically, which can be a huge time-seed. The product also has some more “out” features, which I will not use, including fake avatar generations and fake speech generations.
The thing is that, the details are more in many talkings head videos. I am not sure that it can handle the project video on intensive technical hands. So, it is still in the “probably someday” category, for now.
