Some things suddenly ruin the joy of watching a good show, which suddenly looks at the rotating asteroid symbol or the swirly icon that tells you that your TV is buffering. Or perhaps it is stuttering, or completely cold. If this is happening on your Roku TV, do not give up on it yet.

Like phones and computers, Rokus contains cash that collect temporary data, which slows them over time. There are simple ways to clean this hidden dislocation and behave your Roku TV like your normal, healthy self.
Here are some ways to clean the cash of your Roku, improve its speed and play the show smoothly.
1. Start by unapproving it
It seems very easy to bother with almost one, but this is usually the first step technique when healing upgrading equipment. Sometimes it also moves. Unplug the unit, go away for a few minutes to get out all those electronic pulses, and plug it back in.
2. Restart through settings
This is not a factory reset, but you would not want to do it between seeing the “yellow jacket” because your regular scheduled schedule will definitely be interrupted. Follow these steps, and your TV should be restarted in about 30 seconds.
- From Home Screen, go setting (At the end of the list).
- choose SystemThen Power,
- choose Restarting system And click and confirm restart,
3. Restart through remote
If the problems persist after that quick fix, try this hidden function using Roku remote.
- Go to Home Menu Home The option on the left is highlighted.
- Press Home Button five times.
- Press Above Once the arrow.
- Press Rewind Button twice.
- Press Move on Button twice.
- Wait for your Roku to restart.
4. Uninstall the apps and restore
If you are having additional trouble with a particular app, which you may suspect that may have problems, it is a good idea to uninstall and restore it. You can do this for any number of apps, but keep in mind that re -installing the app will eliminate all user data and settings, after which a full setup is required.

- From Home Highlight the screen, problematic app (do not open it).
- Press , Button on your remote.
- choose Remove channels From the pop-up menu.
- Restore the app, and take time out to re -set it.
5. Reset your network connection
Your Wi-Fi signal may be strong, but still may be a hiccup in your device-to-network interface. There is no harm in giving it a shot, although this process will reboot your Roku and you will need to resume your Wi-Fi password. This will remove all network details, Wi-Fi passwords and settings for both wired and wireless connections.
Keep in mind that if you have any other devices associated with your Roku TV (such as a soundbar or streaming stick), you may need to re -connect those devices even after resetting the network connection.
- Go setting From the main menu.
- choose SystemThen advanced System Settings,
- choose Network connection resetThen Reset connection,
- Wait for your Roku to restart.
- go back to networkChoose again setup connection,
- choose Wireless And choose your Wi-Fi network from the list.
- Enter your password using on-screen keyboard and select Add,
6. Reset the entire Roku TV
Resetting a factory for any device is a lot such as treating a back injury with surgery – a final resort – and no one wants to go with it. This will erase all your individual settings, user profiles, login credentials and installed apps. If the above steps are not excluded, it is mentioned here how to return your Roku to its original position.

Hopefully, it will not come on it (dreaded factory reset), but it will definitely work if needed. By trying some former methods of the above, you have a good chance to make your Roku fun to see again.
