I depend on the earbuds to protect my run from feeling like a task. This is especially during the hot summer months, when any distraction from heat is a requirement. When I go to run for a long time, I need earbuds that can not only tolerate my abundant sweat, but also continuously remind me that there is something on my ears.
Due to the amount of sweat when I run, I can’t wear traditional earbuds (I have destroyed at least a dozen couples), which means that I have to use bone-operating headphones or open-air earbuds.
Also: These $ 15 goods have converted my airpods into the most versatile earbuds that I have worn.
For the longest time, I used bone-operating headphones, but I always received the sound that they produce to be less than the ideal. About a year ago, I started using open-air earbuds and a clip-on style. Since then, I had not had to deal with my sweat -destroyed earbuds, bad sound or discomfort.
I have also tried and reviewed many different couples, each of which had its professionals and opposition.
When i received Openrock S2 Open-Air YearbudsI could have doubted because I had never heard of the brand. However, I have learned that earbuds have traveled a long way since their early days, so even unknown brands or cheap couples can catch me with surprise.
Therefore, I went into this review without any prior perception.
My experience
As with connecting most of the earbuds with Android, it was only a case to unbox the operarock S2S, open the case, take out the earbuds, remove protective plastic, bring back the earbuds, and then wait for Android to find them, which was in twenty seconds.
Once coupled, I slipped earbuds on my ears and immediately felt how comfortable they were. It is not only size and design, but also weight that makes them so comfortable. The weight of these earbuds is only 7 grams, so you will barely notice them.
Do I have earbuds or not? I can’t tell

Then came the important part of the test – music. I started with the “Ligchar Marx” of Mesgagah, which was unfair to me as any song from that demonic band can challenge the integrity of the lower and middle-rang earbuds and headphones.
Instead of continuing with that band, I switched to primus and “my name is mud.” much improved. Les Cleepool’s bass was present, but was not heavy, the Lear’s guitar seemed more sophisticated than what it seemed to be (looking at the price), and the drums of the herb were good and tight.
After “mud”, I switched to my favorite test album, “signal” by Rush. This is the place where the Openrock S2 Earbuds did not shine at all, but did not reduce all that. While I found that the midrange was spot, there was a lack of some definition at a low end and high was not crisp at all. It is not to say that the sound was bad. it.
Also: I recommend these budget earbuds on the Preisier Bose and Sony models – why is it here
S2 earbuds make down with a fairly decent soundstage and for the deficiency of the top, so the equipment is not simultaneously as if they become indiscriminate. If you know Rush, you know that a lot is always going on with his music, and the S2 Earbuds did not scam the things at the point where it looked like a sound wall compared to the trio of the best musicians, which was ever on the stage of rock.
And although the low end was not absolutely dynamic and sophisticated, Geddi’s bass was still very clear and agile. If you like your music more on the timbing side of things, these earbuds will be disappointed. If your taste is more towards the exact bass notes, S2 Earbuds will be No let you down.
Also: These $ 60 wireless earbuds questioned me the habits of spending my audio
The important thing to remember here is that open-air earbuds are not able to produce perforated depths as traditional “in-earbuds” earbuds. I am ready to close that business to avoid destroying another pair with my evil, zenomorphic sweat.
ZDNET purchase advice
If you are active and looking for a pair of earbuds, you can wear all day (or during least long activities), Openrock S2 Open-Air Yearbuds Will not be disappointed. Are these the best $ 99 yearbuddle I have ever conducted tests? No, but they are probably the most comfortable, and no matter how active I get, they live in place. That final factor makes them worth buying alone, especially if the activities of your choice include a lot of movements.
One last thing about S2 Earbuds. These do not have a touch surface to stop, skipping, repeat or repeat songs (or to respond to calls.
At the end of the earbud, there are physical buttons (the part that sits behind your ears), which makes it a little more challenging to interact with (literally) on the run (literally). This makes it a habit of doing something, but after about fifteen minutes, I got the hanging of the pavement.
