When I remind you of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater Series, the first three entries are my most funded memories. My head was with THPS 1-3 franchise, the Games introduced me to Sri Hawk, his skateboard friends/rivals and generally skateboarding culture.
These are the titles that assured me that I can also skateboard, at the point that I went to a long half pipe before learning methods of staying straight on a board. “I nail 900 at all times in sports, so it is definitely not so difficult,” I thought confidently. The effort went down the stairs with Peter Griffin. Wrong confidence from one side, it reflects my passion with the first three games, because they inspired me to do something, very dumb.
They do not apply to the Pro Skater 4 of Tony Hawk, warm and mild painful memories. In 2002, I did not mean that time to buy games for my playstation 2. This was the first Tony Hawk game I did not do myself, instead to borrow a copy from a friend or play at their home. The game did not come for me.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4 changed the gear with the specialty of a free-romming world. Gone was the run-based challenges and a two-minute timer. Instead, the players were free to find out large parks to fulfill their objectives on their leave. This blueprint will form the foundation of later entries, such as underground and Americanstland games. Perhaps I was resistant to converting into the form of the then -14 -year -old, or perhaps I was experienced by the series after playing a new game subconsciously for three years, but I did not enjoy about 4 as my predecessors.
This initial impression cemented Tony Hawk 4 in my brain as “so” so “so” experience. I did not touch it again after 2002, but as time passed and my criticisms were forced, I wondered if I have not given the game a proper shake. So when Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 was announced, I was excited to see the fourth game again with a new coat of paint and a new perspective. Like many THPS 4 fans, I was disappointed to know that developer Iron Galaxy did not just make the game better; It effectively removed it into a two -minute time bound image of THPS 3.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 + 4 College Level
I understand the purpose of this approach. The THPS 3 series has the best reviewed entry; Why do you not want more polarization fourth game to mirror that successful blueprint? However, this means that the original design I was hopeful that it is no longer revalved. But it is a matter of shame, because this approach robs the players of one of the best, but at least talk, the opportunity to assure a more loyal remake.
This is one of the reasons I loved by the remake of the 2020 demon souls. It did not “get” the appeal of the game when it first came in 2009. I dislike the hub-based structure and high difficulty. “It’s stupid and hard,” I thought that those friends of those rolling skeletons cut me for Umpteenth time. “How can someone enjoy it on earth?” I left the game quickly and never looked back. It was not until the dark Sols introduced a mutual world-connected world that the appeal clicked for me, and I fell in love with the action games with the then new sub-style of software. As I played and enjoyed future entries such as bloodborn and secrino, the souls of the demon were branded in my mind for a long time as “weird” entry which was not very good.

Demon souls (2020)
To repeat the demon’s souls for Sports information Through a remake of 2020, which was largely a graphical facelift, I found that it was enjoying itself and appreciated the game more appreciated what it is and tries to do, now that I had a new approach to see it. If the developer Blue Point more originally replaced the hub-like design of demon’s souls more closely as dark sools, it is a more successful template, this is a more successful template It is possible Another better game has resulted as a result. But then I must have seen it as a blue point “fixing”, which carries forward the souls of the demon, carrying on my existing, perhaps some bad belief is of the opinion that the original recurrence was always terrible.
I wish I could do the same for Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4. Turning back, I know that my criticisms were not completely fair, and I would like to re -experience it from the place of enthusiasm instead of burnout or mild displeasure over its changes. Even if I still did not like it too much as the first three games, I would be able to create at least one more educated and measured opinion. I would have to hunt an original copy of the game to do this, if there is any other reason for any other reason that in my opinion I would have enough improvement to improve another half-pipe.
