Earbuds are not all about playing the best music, now. Productivity earbuds are one thing-to renounce some audio quality for rich integrations with video-vedioconferenching software or AI-operated transcription features.
I recently reviewed another pair like this: EPOS E1 earbuds adapted to video calls, and I praised their easy gestures. But the latest productivity pair I am using is Oso ai earbudsA pair designed especially designed to transfer the call and work briefly.

The earbuds of the OSO are translated through the AI meeting AI by AI meeting by GPT-5 to face your meetings, phone calls, or even interactions, recording them, transfer them, summons, and integrated AI of Laxis through integrated AI.
The earbuds themselves have support for 13 mm dynamic driver, a dual beamphoring microphone, and Bluetooth 5.2. Physically, plastic case and shiny earbuds do not shout at all, but they do not feel less, either. Something unique in the case is: a touchscreen display.
Tapping the display shows time and date, and swipe through the screen hosts various characteristics and settings. Volume, Brightness, The EQ, Playback Control, etc. What is really useful, however, there is a battery information, which displays the percentage and case of each bud.
When the case becomes inactive or if you open it to insert the buds, an animated face appears to look around, squint on you, or sometimes give you heart eyes if you tap it. My guess is that the brand wanted to express earbuds as “AI assistant”, which jumps to help you when needed.
The touchscreen on the Earbuds case does not cause actually a really available problems, but the manu activation from handling it, sometimes leaves the tracks, or replacing a setting by pulling the case out of your pocket. This is one of the things that look good on paper but not for everyone in behavior. Note that you can close it in settings, though.
As far as the features run, recording capabilities on earbuds are rather strong. I tried them in some different meetings and were as accurate about the tape produced by it as any other AI transcription feature you would get. The summary feature was also accurate, and surprisingly rapidly in generation.

Recording a phone call is one of the main features here, as it used to be a difficult task to do. The recorded call quality was excellent, and it may not be easy to activate in the app. Another note to note here is that although the OSO user will do a “recording start” voice notification here, there is only a subtle sound effect that hears on the collar recording start.
In the OSO app, you will get all your recordings at one place under the conversation tab. Clicking in a recording will pull down the written transcript with audio playback. Scrolling through the audio timeline will automatically adjust the part of the transcript so that you can follow together.
This is also the place where you can set the summary facility on fire, and the app can generate a well -prepared observation of conversations, meeting, or phone calls, which is completed with bullet points and action items, which you will see with Google Gemini. When it comes to sharing, you can copy and paste from the app to slack, email or text messaging.
These features are very good, and will engage with most users, but laxischat – which lets you interface to ask questions about the content recorded with the chatbot – is behind a pavall.
In fact, the app indicates to upgrade your membership to premium tier, with a progression bar, which shows you how much room you have left for audio storage with free membership. You get a lot of storage for free, however: 300 minutes of monthly transcription and AI summary, and 1000 min cloud storage for your recording.

If you want to interact with many recorded tapes and interviews, I can see membership being useful, but keep in mind that many of these facilities can be available in other places, such as using Gemini on Google Chromebook, apple intelligence on MACBOOK, or AI-Packs like Samsung Z fold on MACBOOK.
Utility if the OSO earbuds app lies in the ability to keep everything in one place in one place, but in $ 119/year, Premium tier Is not cheap at all. Especially at the top of the cost of earbuds, which move to $ 249. Then, it is expensive for a product of this caliber. This is the same price as Apple’s brand Airpods Pro 3A top-tiered couple of buds with several of ANC and the same AI integration.

When we are on the subject of ANC, I should mention that OSO Bads claim “smart noise cancellation”, which possibly refers to the audio treating on the call, but there is no active noise cancellation that will reduce the ambient noise. In that sense, they will not replace high-end earbuds for most people.
For example, OSO Yearbuds did not give a chance on the metro here in New York, my music completely drowned with ambient noise. To be fair, however, it’s not at all what they are doing. When you have an important meeting, phone call, or lecture, they are earbuded when you want to record every word in both audio and text.
ZDNET purchase advice
Oso ai assistant earbuds Anyone is great for anyone, which needs to record, transfer, and abbreviate, transfer, and abbreviate conversations, lectures, or meetings. In this app, all these features are placed at one place, and the summary that provides is comparable to other major AI-managed platforms.
Call recording feature is particularly good, and especially journalists would like access to this feature, which does not sit behind the premium tier. For these transcription and summary features, which are often services associated with membership, the $ 249 value of earbuds is easily appropriate.
But if you are looking for a pair of earbuds, which has booming bass and ANC, then these are not what you want. OSO Earbuds will run your music, but they are designed to record, briefly and communicate the dialogue, and they do it well.
