With summer soon on us, which is not the same at all, because we try to remain calm under the sun. But coffee aficionados can be rejoiced, as there are constant growing ways to enjoy caffeine hits without heat.
Cold Bru Coffee is a fresh option for this popular hot drink, and it is easy to make at home. Therefore, I went to a cold brow with cuisine cold brow drip coffee adapter, designed to work with an aeropress. Will it be easy to use, make a delicious decoction, and will be worth $ 36?
What is a cold decoction coffee?
A cool decoction is made with cold water, and it is not the same as iced coffee, which is coffee made with regular warm water and cooled. The process of making alcohol is different, and the coffee grounds have been submerged in cold water for a long time. If your idea is to grab and leave a quick homebrev coffee, it is not for you.
Branding
Before getting caught in making a cool decoction with puckpuck, I will buy PuckPuck Brew Adapter for name and packaging alone.
This definitely hits a location and score top points for branding. I recently tried the 2Pour aeropress accessory that makes two brruves at once, but branding and packaging design does not come close to Pakak. After working for a design company first, I know the importance branding can play in a purchase.
But, despite the funky design, Pakkak must prove itself in terms of performance.
What is involved
Inside the box, you will find a blue filter, which includes two sections, a splash filter, and a water and ice chamber with a lid. You will also find an easy instruction book that tells you how you have to make a cold decoction and do it.
Filter
The part of the magic about the pakpak is adjustable value. The patent design controls the flow of water on the coffee ground and saves a sweet and less acidic decoction. You can also set the drip speed to suit your taste.
Puckpuck is designed to work with an airpress, so if you are not already one, you will either have to shop, or find an alternative way to make a cold decoction drip coffee.
In addition to an aeropress and a filter paper, you will also use 38 grams medium ground coffee (you will normally use to make an airpress coffee), 400 ml water and 100 grams of ice. You will also need a jug, or large enough vessel to keep the ground coffee.
How does Pakak work?
If you are using to make an aeropress coffee, you will use relatively easy. Here are me steps taken when I first used Pakak.
Fake
1. Pop the splash filter from the blue pakp device. My son saw the sticker and swipe it to keep it safe!
2. Rinse three parts under water and shake any excess water.
3. Fold the two sections of the pakpak together, making sure that the side vents are clear.
Aeropress
1. Add a paper filter to the aeropress filter and screw it to the base.
2. Place the aeropress on your chosen vessel.
3. Add 38 grams of coffee to the aeropress, medium-ground works best, and give a shake to the chamber.
4. Carefully release the pakp filter over the coffee field. I found that it was a bit difficult because it landed at an angle, and before I would correct it, I had some efforts.
Obtain everything in position
1. Now place the ripening over the aeropress.
2. Pench the included water pot into the top of the cux, optionally you can add a mineral water bottle if you are out and make a portable decoction about it.
3. Add 100 grams of ice and then 400 ml water.
Adjust filter
1. Very slowly, turn on the puspak anti-clockwise. I was doing this at first, because I was worried that everything would be over! You will be able to see the drip descending from the value.
2. The pakpak suggests that the target target for a drip rate of about 50 drops, which will take 2.5-3 hours to decoction. If you want help in setting the drip rate, then PuckPuck has an app that you can download your Android Phone or iOS. When I tested the gadget, I did not try this, but if you are after accuracy, it is worth a shot.
slow and steady
My advice, you cannot get into a crowd when you make a slow decoction drip coffee, so if you gasp for some caffeine, first make a normal decoction with your aeropress! Or, be ready and want to drink alcohol at night, before you want to drink it.

How to enjoy your decoction
Once you make your slow-drip coffee, you can enjoy it directly, or it can be kept in the fridge for two weeks. You can also serve it with ice, milk or dilute it with warm water. So, it gives you many options how you can enjoy your cold brow.
I enjoyed a glass of coffee with ice, as soon as it finished making alcohol, and later kept the rest in his fridge to enjoy.
Is the cuisine worth it?
It tastes like a premium coffee, but a step price to pay $ 36 is when you consider that you can pick up an airpress for less. Currently, the aeropress is exempted on the original coffee press Amazon for $ 34,
It is relatively easy to use, once you get used to setting up the filter, which is not long. In addition, it is light and portable, so you can take it on your trip, which is packed with its airpress.
Although the price is standing, the packaging of the pakp is fun and will give an excellent gift to someone that is crazy about their decoction. I am not sure I will pay for it otherwise.
