Yes, this is true. Tech is expensive and I am poor. Fortunately, I have been able to keep iPhones for more than 5 years (many times!), 8 years of Nutribullets, and I am in my third year with my favorite Macbook Pro (and it goes on with today as I did it as I did).

So how do I do it? Well, I follow the guidelines set by the manufacturers – I do not push my gadgets to the limit and I respect their desire to rest. Secondly, I make sure that I get the best spectacles for my personal needs and make my gear-proof-proof, which means that I do not have to upgrade many times.

And the most important one? I take care of my luggage. I clean it and store it properly. If you follow my suggestions, I am sure you will be able to keep the technique as long as possible.

Tech Tip #1: I follow user manual

If a phone instructions say “not submerged in water”, do not submerge your phone in water.

All jokes on one side, this is really an important point. Its The most important point in this article. Nutribullet recommends the dry content against conclusion as it can damage the blade.

Not more often, household appliances such as coffee machines and air firors specify “suitable for only private domestic use”. Such products are intended to use only a few times a day.

Think of it in this way: If a coffee machine is used thirty times a year, it is about 11,000 coffee. However, if a coffee machine is used twice a day for a year, it is only 730 coffee, which means that it will take 15 years to create equal amounts of beverages.

As a result, I do not expect my technology promises more than this.

My iPhone 11 lasted for 5 years before being upgraded. I didn’t even do need To upgrade (it still works perfectly). I upgraded to my current phone because I had just sold my car and I had a little cash (for the first time).

Why did my iPhone run for so long? I do not use it much. My screen is a maximum of 4 hours and I do not use my phone for hours on cellular.

However, if you use your phone for work, you will not clearly luxury. I recommend to follow the advice of the phone manufacturer in this case: For example, Apple recommends updating the software and using low power mode. This advice can change on the basis of the manufacturer.

Tech Tip #2: I get the product with the requirement of the product

To clarify this point, I am going to withdraw you in 2017. I needed a new MacBook, seeing that I was in college and was carrying my incredibly heavy laptop in school and I was very laborious.

I was also a student, so I was not rolling in cash at all. I went to the Apple Store and bought the cheapest MacBook there – it spends me about £ 900 ($ 1,200 roughly). It also had 128GB SSD and only 8GB RAM.

Did this MacBook give me a long time? Yes and no. I used this laptop by 2022 when it died quite literally. It used to work only while plug in and if I tried to run more than one app, it seemed like a jet engine once. I had to plug an external hard drive at all times to reach my files.

Just because something is expensive, it does not mean that it will last long. It is about evaluating what you need for the future.

So in 2022, when I finally earned enough money to upgrade, I got the top-range model. I upgraded the M1 Max from the M1 chip, upgraded to 1TB storage, and the RAM was upgraded.

And now? Three years later, my MacBook Pro still moves like the day I did it. It runs the game, video editing software and other demanding apps, without sweating without breaking.

So I would recommend getting the top end product (if you can afford it, of course). In other cases, it will receive a (high-rated) $ 800 aspresso machine instead of “$ 200 a” instead of a (high-rated). If you do not need to change something often, you will save money in a long time.

Just because something is expensive, however, it does not mean that it will last long. It is about evaluating You Future is needed. I learned from my 2017 mistake and I did not impose my new Macbook. I consolidated all the information available to me, researched my glasses, and purchased only once after being 100%.

Tech Tip #3: I maintain my products

I know that it seems clear, but it is really important. Maintenance includes the load of the goods: cleaning, storage at the appropriate location and replacing faulty parts.

For example, if your screen cracks, you probably should go and get a replacement before the cracks are damaged. Similarly, if you throw your headphone on the floor instead of keeping it in the case, they will probably not last too long.

My iPhone 11 screen never broke because I had a really good phone case and screen guard. Now, with my iPhone 16, I have the best iPhone 16 phone case to ensure that my phone does not smash again.

It goes to everything I do: I regularly empty and clear my Dyson Jane 5 Detect Vacuum, I decide my D’Longi La Specialista Opera every month (I live in a difficult water area), and I dust my bose to the smart soundbar every few days (it prevents the particles in the speaker system).

If you follow these three tips, you will probably end to save money in a long time. Your technique will last long and, in time, save you $ $ $.
