My wife and I have no special love for Samsung, yet in less than a year, our galaxy has become a home of equipment and Samsung equipment. How did this happen here?
There is no other device like Galaxy Z fold
I am the one who has started this infection, so let’s start with your first Samsung Galaxy device: Galaxy Z Fold 5. Some devices have changed my life a lot.
Samsung’s book-style foldable phone can do much more work than a phone. It is a tablet, an erader, a digital notepad, a game console and the list move forward. But this was especially inclusive of Samsung Dex that lured me, because I was eager to embrace a phone that could also serve as a fully developed PC.
I bought this phone open box from MSRP for 50%. Then, in less than a year, I bought a Z fold 6 in the “New Like New” condition for a discount of 50% (foldable phones are not as expensive as you can think). My wife was using a Google Pixel 7, but began to envy all the places I have done to read and browse e -books. Z fold 5 became my wife’s phone, and now we are shaking Samsung’s book-style.

The most trusted and powerful Android software
I spent years as a Linux user, who preferred to detect and tinker tinker with tech, but as a parent, now I have a lot of responsibility on my shoulders. I just need software that I need everything and does it well.
Android, clearly, I need everything I need. And the version of Samsung, especially, is the most powerful. Samsung Dex is the most capable Android desktop.

I think Samsung software is better for Google apps that mainly try to do everything in the cloud.

Samsung makes the best (and most) Android Tablet
Android tablets were everywhere a decade ago, and then they exit a large extent. Google stopped making them, and so most other Android manufacturers did. But Samsung did not. While now there is some competition from Lenovo and OnePlus, if you want a premium option with many years of software support, Samsung Tablet is your best bet.

But OnePlus is getting closer – if only it offers more than one.
This is why when my wife needed a new tool to change her old iPad for work, instead of going for a new iPad (whom she always disappointed), she bought a Samsung Galaxy S10+. It has flexibility of a tablet, but we have enough power and flexibility to do the kind of PC functions we need.

We like to write on our screen
My Galaxy Z Fold 6 has a pen, which is a decrease in rival Google Pixel 9 Pro Folds. Another book-style foldable, OnePlus Open, available in the US supports a stylus-one that is to be imported and lacks any special software. Meanwhile, Samsung notes are certainly the best app that makes Samsung, and I use it daily.

This is not just a Samsung note that is very good. This is the ease with which I mark the screenshot that I share in the slack. How fast I can write words on a virtual keyboard using a gesture swipe. It has the ability to interact with a small menu on desktop websites that is difficult to manage with a finger. S Penn is a main part of how I am able to do all my professional work directly from my phone. So I was destroyed to be removed from Galaxy Z Fold 7.
Well -supported, repaired hardware
Samsung has the longest software support in the industry, which matches Google to offer more support than Apple (although we are still waiting to see if the two companies stand by their promises). I can buy a tablet for my children and trust that the software will be supported for most of their childhood.
As my family has increased, there is a number of equipment in our house. I am not interested in changing everything on a two -year cycle or living with a group of hardware linked to the unpetitive internet. So I have opted to take a Galaxy A9+ for my son, when she or her sister accidentally broke her Lenovo Tablet. And this time, I got it with a security plan.
This is something else that I have learned as a parents. If the share of a device can be broken, children will get a way to do it. My children have broken the screen, spread juice on the keyboard, loose the USB-C port, and popped keyboard keys. I have learned that when a store asks me if I want to spend extra money on a conservation plan, just say yes.
However, even if I do not have one, it is relatively easy to repair Samsung products. We can go to buy the best, go to a local Ubreakifix, or see an independent repair shop. There is a good chance that they can hook us.
We are slowly building a smart home, and two early components were Samsung tools. Our builder presented us as an alternative to us with the Samsung fridge, which we choose on the basis of looks. Later, my wife’s employer offered Samsung Frame TV as a bonus. It was only later that we eventually established the latter as a smartthings hub for IOT devices and learned how to manage our fridge equally from our phone and TV.
When it came time to change our dishwasher, we also chose for Samsung. It matches our fridge and will also work with smartths to boot. We do not have Samsung washers and dryers, but if we have to take our place now, we will also buy smartthings for integration.

Why I have finally started buying equipment with smart home features
Not a gimmick.
Do I like the idea of a company making most of our large equipment? Not really, but until the case-regulation becomes more widely throat and mature, we do perfectly with Samsung without these features.
In short, Samsung makes everything and does a good job on it. The company has a great reputation to give long -term support to its products, and unlike Apple, there are many arbitrary boundaries for each one to use. I get access to the same Android apps that I could use on any other Android phone, yet I get a lot of Samsung-Exclusive apps that are one of the best of their types.
My Galaxy Z fold 6 affects me, and other, what modern technology can do, and will take devices such as the company’s upcoming Tri-Guna. I am not committing myself to buy galaxy devices in future, but right now, they just understand so much.
