I have subscribed to Spotify over the years – my oldest playlist was made 14 years ago. And I have been a premium user at that time, so I think it is appropriate to ask: Spotify still remembering these features after this time?

Full facility between mobile and desktop
As I often chains for my desk, writing or editing, I mainly use the desktop version of Spotify. And to unite features, the desktop version of Spotiff is made several times or design experience with mobile is disappointing, as it often makes the desktop experience worse.
Case in Bindu: When you clicked on the song icon playing currently in the right corner below, it used to take you to the song played in the playlist. This worked perfectly and helped you find the song you were listening. But Spotify decided that the flow should match the mobile process (why?), So it now changed the action to open the playing scene – even if you have that scene disabled.
Then you have to click again to open the actual playlist with the song, as now as a scene playing now Really doesn’t show that informationTherefore, desktop users have to click additional through additional windows to find similar information. again, just why?
The mobile version of Spotify usually receives the first update, many features never make it in the desktop version. For example, in June 2025, Spotify added new features to find weekly, but only the mobile version. Desktop users, who pay accurate equal membership fees, do not get equal facilities.
Oh, and with this new feature, I can change the settings in the mobile app to accommodate them on the desktop version, which is clearly ridiculous. If the desktop version can support changes, why not only add facilities to the Spotify desktop app?
This is just wrong and shows that Spotify does not care about its desktop users at all, and it is time that it changes.

Add AI Music Label
This is definitely in the new list of “I Spotify near Spotify”, but this is an important additional.
The rise of AI music on music streaming platforms like Spotify already reduces low income for those who are not already superstars. Spotify should run on the footsteps of Deezer by introducing a specific AI-music label, which allows those who want to avoid doing so.
There are some ways you can try to spot AI music, but they are far from being foolish, and it will only be harder over time.
Connected
Spotify’s viral band The Velvet Sundown is completely ai – and we knew all this
AI music is to live here, and there is no way to get out.

Home Feed Cursion
Spotify’s home feed is rapidly disorganized with podcasts and audiobooks, looking at music discovery. The simple togle allows users to select “only music,” “only podcast,” or both, or both, the dismissal, pin, or “never shows” never “never show” control, will greatly improve the user’s experience while keeping the material relevant and individual with control.
You can do some of these changes with amazing spicify mods, but in fact, we should not rely on the third-party tool to adjust the feed on the service, for which we pay.
6
Advanced Search
Spotify’s integrated search equipment are really quite basic, especially when you consider the unprecedented amounts of music on stage.
Certainly, you can input specific search phrases and generate unique playlists related to it, but an advanced search feature is actually necessary for those top music lovers.
Advanced search option will change the experience: allow wide style subcontinent, production credit, mood descriptors, lyrical subjects, and so on discoveries. Including wide filters such as popularity, release dates, BPM range, or geographical origin can be a game-changer to find new music.
Spotify already has all this data and uses it to fill your algorithm produced playlist, so why not give us some extra power and let us use it?

Spotify hifi flawed streaming
For a long time, the mute is set to launch the Spotify Music Pro Tier in 2025. It is a very long time coming, first mentioned back to 2021 (although about surfaceing with rumors about its launch).
It has taken so long that most people have already chosen one of the Spotify’s Hi-RS music streaming options, and perhaps once Spotify will not return after launching their new hearing tier.
But for people like me who are locked in spotify, a new audio tier cannot come soon. Only the negative side is that I am sure that the music Pro (or whatever it will eventually be known) will not be a free upgrade to the premium customers.
But in fact, it requires it to make it free or as cheap as possible to compete Apple Music, Jowar, and so on, otherwise there is still very little point in using spotify for hi-race audio.

Social Listen party- Pump the jam
Group sessions currently limit participants to eight premium-cavalry listeners, all require real-time participation on mobile. Spotify should increase participating boundaries and allow premature scheduling sessions.
Imagine the “Spotify Watch Party” style hearing experiences – when you are not hanging out, is an attractive way to enjoy the album with friends, family and others. But then, when you are all hanging out, you have the option that more than eight people can contribute. I know that when my friends roam out, there are usually more than eight people who want to contribute.
Certainly, we can share the phone, but the range of eight-person seems to be only arbitrary.
Another interesting feature can be directly to send music to friends within the spotify. I am deeply aware that many people hate slow crawling of social characteristics in Spotify, so it can be more hit and miss, but it can be fun.
3
Better discography filtering
It relates to somewhat advanced discovery, but is slightly folded. The discography listing of Spotify is really frightening. It is terrible to find an album when each artist has mentioned mentioned in every album, LP, EP, and their discs.
This is a time -consuming and clearly ancient way to list the data, which again, Spotify has already sorted methods. So why not give your customers easy ways to find out what they want?!
Live albums, compilation, add filters to the best albums, the most recent, the oldest, the most popular, and so on. Even adding the option to collapse the title of the song would be a sufficient improvement when just browsing. Now, before someone states that the artists in Spotify are these togles on the home page – yes, you are right. But they do not sort through complete discography, just the Spotiff decides to show you.
Come on, Spotify, we know that you already have these devices. We just see them.
2
Spotify curated playlist togle
I am a huge fan of the playlist born of the algorithm of Spotify. I use them often; When I can’t think what I want to hear, they are working.
But to fill those playlists, Spotiff’s insistence with all the same songs that I am hearing is painful. Where is the Spotify Togal to say, “I like this song, but I do not want to listen to it in each playlist,” or “Please include only the songs that I have not already saved in other playlists”?

Spotify shazam
I love Shazam. I have an app widget that is pinned on my Android smartphone homescreen, so I can use it whenever I need, without opening the app.
However, as much as I love it, many times, I wonder how great a spotted version of Shazam. Instead of using an additional service, Spotify can open directly to the song you are hearing, and Bam, you add it to your favorite or any other playlist.
Spotify still has a good value for money, especially if you can pay less for spotify premium membership. But this is not around the fact that after all these years, Spotify is still remembering the features that have been asking about its customers for years, let’s alone all characteristics have been removed by Spotify for years.
