We know that Cyberpank 2077 Finally coming to Mac, and the developers CD project red (CDPR) has been difficult in work-and still are-when any apple is fitted for walking on silicon-powered device. This means that a large -scale AAA title, often used for benchmark systems, will be able to walk on M1 chip or new.
It was re-confirmed at the WWDC 2025-People Developer Conference-that it would arrive at the end of this year, and with the launch of the new Mac Studio, Techradar saw a demo of running on that super-draft computer.
Now, however, I got a chance to get another demo Cyberpank 2077: Final Edition -A new version of the in-development title-M4 Max Chip and 128 GB RAM on 16-inch MacBook Pro.
It used to provide a butter smooth and excellent 120 frames per second on ‘Ultra’ settings. And yes, this performance is taken from Apple’s M4 Max Chip – no discrepant GPU is required. In addition, it was fully availing metal 4 of Apple, including metalfax frame interpolation at the end of this year.
It looked fantastic and was responsible, but it was thinking about the plan to launch it on any apple silicon Mac.
I was eager to perform on less powerful chips within the lineup of Apple, as the requirement for the title is expected to be the Apple silicon, which means that it should also run more powerful works with base M1, M2, M3, or M4 chips.
I asked CD Project Red’s Associate Game Director Pavel Sansko, about what can be performed on other Macs with different levels from different chips, such as MacBook Air.
He first explained that Cyberpank 2077 The CDPR ownership is running on the Red Engine Four, designed to be scalable. Sasco explained, “Trying to use everything, which provides,”
“The red engine is basically trying to check what hardware you have and squeeze the max you can,” they continued. That means Cyberpank 2077 You will work to run and distribute the best performance based on the chip you have. The Sansko chip or a potential Mac school cannot give a specific number yet, but this is because the game is still not finalized – the CDPR is still working on it and brightening it.
Sasco also shared that they would work on customizing performance to the very end, and recently CDPR discovered how to customize the fabric, it is also known to make a character wearing what a character is wearing.
Enough to say, he shared that “whatever hardware we give is trying to squeeze it,” this means that it can probably run best on Mac – which means a more powerful chip, such as M4, M4 Pro, or M4 Max, will provide the best results.
And the good news is that we are likely to be one of the biggest AAA titles on Mac – CDPR team will not give an exact deadline, but Cyberpank 2077: Final Edition Will arrive in 2025.
Apple also found this demo of the title soon after Apple unveiled the Macos 26 Tahoe, which will introduce the game app. Although the CDPR has not announced whether it will be integrated with the new hub, it will work with the new ‘game overlay’.
It is a sidebar that can be brought to the top right of the screen, enabling the game mode, adjusting the glow or volume, and even the switch controller, as well as easy to join with friends. You can also choose the option to further your MacBooks with various energy mode.
