Amazfit only announced Balance 2, a high-end smartwatch designed for multisort athletes and a large-scale amoled touchscreen, a pair of physical control, 100 meters of water resistance and support for more than 170 workout types.
The brand also unveiled Amazafit Helio Strap. Similar to the whoop 5.0, Helio Strap is a screen-less wellness tracker that promises to monitor a constant heart-drainage with a wrist and a continuous heart-drainage with minimal nuisance.
Amazfit says that using both in parallel, Watch is your primary tool for recording workouts and Helio Strap is your go-two for sleep and recovery monitoring, resulting in even more overall-tracking accuracy. All data of both are processed and combined in the ZEPP app.
I have not yet found my hands on Helio Strap, but I have worn amazfit balance 2 for a few days. Here you need to know about the fitness-centered smartwatch started by this encouragement.
Amazfit Balance 2: Price and Availability

Amazfit Balance 2: Design and Build Quality

With a rubber straps involved, only less than 60 grams, Balance 2 weighs almost the same as Apple Watch Ultra 2. Circular case contains some large diameter of about 48 mm and a fairly standard thickness of about 12 mm.
In my first few days with Balance 2, I feel that it wears it quite comfortably, even if I like small smartwatch; I especially prefer orange strap, which is with too much stretch, soft and adequate adjustment points.
Two beautify the side of the physical control case. The upper is both a digital crown, which can be used to scroll through the app and information on the app, and a pressable button that brings the main menu by default. The lower button opens the workout menu by default.
With 100 meters of water resistance, you can safely wear balance 2 during swimming or scuba diving (don’t worry, there is a dedicated trekking mode for that).
Amazfit Balance 2: Health and Fitness Features
Balance 2 Sports can monitor everything from the latest overall sensor array (biotracker 6.0) of Amazfit and from the heart rate to the health of menstrual health to the health of menstruation. Depending on my experience with other recent Amazafit models, it should also be a good watch for sleep tracking.
Meanwhile, an onboard GPS and barometric ultimate should provide an exact location and height data. Balance 2 additional game an onboard temperature sensor.
Designed for multisort athletes dedicated to its training, Balance 2 has more than 170 workout tracking modes, including normal suspects, such as running and cycling, and more fine/recently trending activities such as freeding, pickles and HIIT workouts.
It automatically recognizes more than 25 strength training movements and even causes post-workout muscle heatmaps to help target areas for future sessions.
Amazfit’s Zepp coach feature uses AI analysis to provide personal training plans for runners to help present for 5K, 10K or marathon. In addition to the device, there is a dedicated Hyrox racing mode.
Balance 2 is not only for staunch workout buffers, however, despite its billing. For those who like to kill links and/or slopes, it offers a large cash of global ski resort maps with support of more than 40,000 golf courses worldwide.
I am especially eager to check the new biosarge score (soon, date TBD) of the Watch. It is similar to the body battery or Samsung’s energy score, except that it is dynamic, changing throughout the day based on the user’s comfort and hard work.
Amazfit Balance 2: Smartwatch Features
There is no cellular connectivity, but Balance 2 has an onboard speaker and microphone to get a call from a coupled smartphone. Speaking about, the partner ZEPP app works with android (7.0 or later) and iOS (15.0 or later) equipment.
Like most modern smartwatches, the balance supports 2 mirror smartphone notifications. It also has some easy tools, such as onboard note apps and camera remote function.
Similar to the recently launched Amazfit Active 2, Balance 2 supports offline maps with turn-by-turn directions. However, let us hope that there has been some improvement in the user experience since my test, as I found that the offline map of the brand has smooth and less than the user friendly.
Amazfit Balance 2: Battery Life
Amazfit says that the balance 2 battery should last up to 21 days in smartwatch mode with general use. However, the brand does not suggest how long the device will last when using GPS for trekking, a notorious power hog.
Balance 2 ships with a small charging puck that works with USB-C-used by Amazfit T-Rex 3-but you will need to provide your own cord and outlet adapter.
Amazfit Balance 2: Outlook
Amazfit Ballance 2 has a flagship smartwatch’s build quality and features, as well as with a heavy price tag for the match. In $ 299, Balance 2 is combating head-to-head with devices such as Samsung Galaxy Watch 7, which is not only a great full-features smartwatch, but also an impressive fitness and wellness tracker.
Historically, one of the things setting Amazfit separate from large brands such as Samsung, Google and Apple focuses on wallet-friendly wearbals that do not skimp on high-end wellness features or design. $ 99 Amazfit Active 2 is an ideal example of this.
Balance 2 is an attempt of Amazfit at some more premium and luxurious. And although there are some advantages on its active 2, such as more water resistance and a click digital crown, I am not sure they are worth three times the cost… but we will see.
