    The method of running Japanese recently made headlines as a science -backed way to reduce your blood pressure and burn more fat. The method of interval running originated in Japan, and HIIT is a form of training. As its name suggests, you option your speed.

    This is very simple: you walk for three minutes at low intensity, then move three minutes at a high intensity, increase your heart rate and move quickly. You keep switching for 30 minutes.

    Nevertheless, if you do not want to see your phone or stopwatch for complete workouts, the easiest thing is to walk as a custom workout on your Apple Watch.

    You should be able to do this with most of the best apple watches in the market that run Watches 11 (if you are using Apple Watch 4, 5 or original SE, you will not be able to do it).

    Here’s how to do a custom workout on your Apple Watch:

    • Go to the workout app on your Apple Watch
    • Turn on digital crown to select the work you want to do in this case: outdoor walk
    • Click on three dots in the upper right corner, then scroll down to make a workout
    • From here, you can choose a goal based on distance, calorie, or time. In this example, you would like to choose the custom.
    • Create a new custom workout screen, choose to add gaps.
    • Using the time option, add a 3 -minute work interval.
    • Then add 3 minutes of recovery.
    • Then you want to repeat a total of 5 times to make a 30 -minute workout. Add a repeat, and select both gaps.

    Once you set these gaps, you can take the workout name and save it in your Apple Watch. When you choose a workout, the watch will alert you every time you need to change the speed, meaning that you will not need to see your phone or stopwatch.

    While you are walking, you will be able to see how long you have left every interval, as well as your average speed and your heart rate.

    If you decide that walking workout is not for you, you can remove custom workouts at any time. Just go to the workout from your Apple Watch, and edit the top right corner click on the icon. Once you get into a workout, scroll down and click on delete workouts.

    If you are getting with a friend who is using Apple Watch, you can send them a workout from your watch using the ‘Workout’ option.

    If you are making a running workout, or something more intense, you may want to add warm-up and cool-down.

    You can manufacture a custom workout in all activity types on Apple Watch, which is different from multisport and open swims. This is a great way to guess from your session, and use the clock to complete intensive training sessions.
