I remember when companies are like this Dogi The rugged Android smartphones started making which were more at home at a construction site. They were large, heavy and, well, not impressive in the performance department.
All this has changed, as I am now watching the rugged Android handset that rote a lot of performance in that difficult exterior. Dogi S200 Max There is one such handset.

Appropriately designated, everything about S200 Max has been converted into Max. This Android 15, 5G-able smartphone has a large 6.72-inch 2,400 x 1,080 pixel (2.4K) display that can hit the 120Hz refresh rate.
But this is not just a screen. A 1.3-inch IPS on the-part is always a secondary screen that allows you to peek on things like notorious, time and date and battery status without getting distracted by large displays.
Running show is a 6-nenometer octa-core MediaTek Demistance 7050 processor, which is running up to 2.6GHz and a 16GB of RAM, which can be carried forward by 20GB virtual RAM (my general advice is to set up my general advice on maximum for the best performance, but in this case it has been stored for the mess). And if it becomes slightly tight, you can hit it with a microSD card.
Performance-wise, S200 Max felt the butter-soul of what I thrown at it. I usually have to wait a bit for the smartphone to complete my housekeeping tasks after first turning on and installing it, but this handset was directly for business, and easily handled the innumerable apps and browsers with dozens of tabs.
The secondary performance of the S200 Max is the work.

Powering this huge handset is an ultra-big battery of 22,000mAh that offers 1,200 hours of standby power (which 50 days standby) or 30-hour web browsing.
Try with your iPhone 17 Pro Max!
The giant battery forms more power banks with the S200 Max attaching to a power bank, and Dogi is well aware, which is why the handset 18W supports reverse charging, so you can get your friends out of battery pickle with your smartphone, camera, drone or whatever it is. The battery can be charged up to 66W, and this power you can move from flat to full in two hours.

This is one of the very few smartphones where I rarely have to think about battery life. In fact, I am really surprised when it needs to be charged!
And before you ask, yes, the S200 Max is around the camera’s neck. There are three on the back: a 108-megapixel main camera (it is a quad-bier sensor that uses four pixels instead of one to perform better in low-light circumstances), 20-megapixel night vision camera, and 2-megapixel macro camera. And there is a 32-megapixel camera to handle selfie and video conferencing on the front.

As is always accompanied by a non-flagship handset, the cameras are more than enough for users-to capture photos and videos for most social media. You do not get cinematic punch that you get with an iPhone or the latest Samsung Galaxy, but even it is ruined on social media because images and videos are compressed and downscale for conservation of storage space and bandwidth.
Everything is packed in a hard exterior that has been rated for IP68/IP69K and MIL-STD-810H, and it can oppose immersion in six feet of water for a day, more than 3-flowers, dirt, dirt, dust, humidity and more.

One of my favorite Android features on the side is a fingerprint reader to handle all biometrics.
Last but certainly not minimum, there is a twin-LED flashlight at the top, which is no joke, one of the most bright that I have seen on a smartphone. I made a mistake to see it in a broad daylight and I was looking at images for several minutes. This crazy is bright, and it was only later that I came to know that it was only 60% of the power.
Nothing is subtle about S200 Max!

Just be aware of its wholesale. The device is not small, measures 7.1 x 3.2 x 1 inch (yes, it is an inch thick smartphone), weighing 1.2 pounds. This is actually a behemoth of a smartphone and nothing is subtle about S200 Max. Until you have a bag or big, huge cargo pocket or belt to hang this phone, you are taking it because this child does not fit your pocket.
ZDNET purchase advice
Dogi S200 Max One of those handsets is not for everyone. You need a certain type of user who wants a phone that is an inch thick, weighs well on a pound, and does not fit into a normal pocket.
But for those who require durability and performance and battery life that move forward is a handset to consider it. In $ 470, it is not at all cheap, but for those who need a combination of rugged, spectacular battery life and good, it is one of the best handsets that you can buy.
