I reviewed Benq EW2790U – and I still cannot believe that this 4K business monitor is so cheap for what you get.

I review the monitor as an important part of my work in Techradar Pro. I have tried the most, and I have a good understanding of what I will monitor to buy for real -world use and what is good on paper. This is partly due to the fact that I am still very high in “regular” tasks, as well as using all kinds of different setups, computers, monitors, and so on. It is said that with everyone, I forgot how inexpensive this monitor was during my testing phase and felt it was only $ 360 when I sat down to write the review and dual examination of the glasses.

Benq eW2790U: Pricing and Availability

The EW series currently consists of three variants: EW3290U at $ 549.99, EW2790U at $ 359.99, and at $ 329.99 at EW2790Q. Benq EW2790u: Unboxing and First Impression

Benq EW2790U comes with a monitor, other Benq monitor, a USB-C cable, a power cable (IEC) and a slimmer stand compared to a quick guide. There is no doubt about this, the visible speaker stands out right with the bat. Additionally, white bezel is slightly different from most black bezel monitors. However, after being out of the box for a while, I became accustomed to it, and now it is not bad for me at all.

I had a monitor at the stand, it came for about 15 seconds how it works. Then I moved the display to one of my monitor arms because I am sure that I have reached my limit, and all my monitor should be on one of my monitor weapons for keeping the desk clean, and to keep the desk clean, and cable management.

Benq EW2790U: Design and Build Quality

Now some benQ monitors have been monitored that I have done a test that has a non-standard white bezel frame, and I really developed to like it in the right place. It seems modern and fun, reminding me that I can enjoy this place and the work I am doing nor feel that work is work.

The visible speaker is something that I have not seen in a monitor before, but now I barely see them strange because I have seen them so many times at this point.

The port offering on the back is another build quality that I was not expecting on the budget monitor in the budget. Most budget monitors have minimum ports, I have seen something with a single HDMI port to save money. In this monitor, however, three HDMIs, two USB-C (one that can plug into your computer, one for one accessory), three USB-A, one headphone jack and a IEC port for power (not a cheap barrel connector like a lot of budget displays).

Benq EW2790U: In Uses

Okay, I will accept it, I have a problem. Only 15 seconds after this monitor being at the stand came with it, it is quite long to test it out and see how it works, I thrown this display on one of my monitor arms. I just love the look and function. But it is nothing negative about the stand that sends with Benquue Monitor, because I don’t feel bad. It is minimal, it has some good mobility, and it is beautiful.

Moving forward, this display is running my secondary setup for 105 days at the time of writing this review. For 105 days, I have run every computer through this monitor to test glasses and performance, I have kept it in the backdrop of every meeting, I have played my son on it, and see the show on it, when I am working, I have co-cum, and I have given it a podcast or two just because I can play it because I can do it and it is easy.

For productivity, this performance is great. The size of 27 inch is the industry standard for a reason, it is a sweet place. It works well with almost every computer, with 16: 9 aspect ratio and 4K resolution. However with a button tap makes this unit unique, you can swap color profiles, audio mode, display mode and volume and jump together to a completely different profile for a separate device.

So, you can setup your productivity with your standard view, vocal audio mode, and USB-C port, and then with a touch of a button you can get ready for gaming after hours, or see the content on your lunch brake. And, with three HDMIs, you can plug into a gaming system, an Apple TV, and a work dock, while still keep your individual laptop or tablet in the plug via USB-C. Oh, and don’t forget that it is a budget monitor.

Speaker is not ground braking, but I would say they are better than the vast majority of other monitor and will be higher than TVS speakers in my mind. They are good, you will not be disturbed by quality, but you will not be the minds that they blow. For music I could tolerate non-detailed background music, but I well know that I felt as if I was missing in some parts. Audio profiles were excellent for virtual meetings, the same I was watching with podcast or video.

Benq EW2790U: Final decision

Benq EW2790U is a magnificent budget 4K monitor with unprecedented port prasad, luxurious features and a unique design. If you are looking for a full-specialist budget monitor, or even a full-specialist monitor and you are not worried about the price, you want to see this display before making any other purchases.
