I have been testing Ringcon General 2 Air for the last 96 hours, to see if it can compete with the best smart rings, including OURA, Samsung, Amazfit and Ultrahuman options.
Well -well and surprisingly specified, Ringcon Jean 2 is largely positive in my first raids of air. There are five things here with a four-day non-stop and with a complete review in works, here I like Ringcon Jean 2 air, as well as two things that I don’t like.
Such as: It is less than $ 200 and subscription-free
The Flagship Ringcon General 2 ($ 299), the younger brother, is a straightforward deal on Ringcon Jean 2 Air $ 199. This price keeps it in line with the best cheap smart ring, which I have tested, Amazfit Helio Ring.
Similar to Helio Ring-but opposite-Ringcon Jean 2 air is also fully subscribed to the industry-municipality OURA Ring 4.
Such as: plays well with Android and iOS
One of my favorite smart rings is Samsung Galaxy Ring. Unfortunately, unless you are an Android user – I am not – the device is a closed range. And to get out of Samsung’s finger-based wearable most, you will definitely need one of the best Samsung phones.
RingConn, such as OURA, Ultrahuman, Amazfit and others, do not play the favorite when it comes to compatibility. The RingConn app is available on both Google Play and Apple App Store.
Such as: Battery life should be good for a week or more
Ringcon says that General 2 Air should stay for ten days on the same charge. This rating makes long -standable compared to the wearer Best smart ringsBut how realistic it is?
After wearing closely near 96 hours, I have used only 25% battery. At this rate, ten days seem completely appropriate. Of course, I am planning to wear it until the battery completely drains. Stay for my full review where I am reporting on the figures.
Such as: it’s very comfortable
So far, I am finding Ringcon Jean 2 Air Beautiful Daran comfortable. At about 3.5 grams, it is not more than an OURA ring 4. The thickness of the ring varies from 3.1 mm, where the sensors spread to 1.6 mm from inside, where there are no sensors.
While I prefer flush sensors, such as on OURA Ring 4, a pair of 1.5 mm long NUBS (which appears to have a heart rate sensor) does not bother me much. Ultimately, the size 11 fits comfortably on my index finger, while in terms of heft or design does not look different from a simple ring.
Such as: decent durability
The exterior of the stainless steel of Ringcon Jean 2 has some unconscious micro scratches from my four -day test, including leaving it on a strong wood floor, not once but twice (accidentally, of course). The interior, where the sensors are, have epoxy resin and shows no signs of wear.
Ringcon says that the device is the effect- and scratch-resistant, and I believe. Ringcon did not skimp on environmental sealing. With resistance to 100 meters of water – similar to OURA Ring 4, Samsung Galaxy Ring and others – you can wash your hands, shower and even swim with confidence while wearing it.
Dislike: General 2 Air weighs more than General 2
I dislike to confuse product names strongly, and therefore the following should be said: what can look logical, Ringcon Jean 2 air really weighs More Standard Ringcon General 2,
According to the brand’s site, the air weighs between 2.5 and 4 grams, which is based on size, while the standard gene 2 is between 2 to 3 grams, again, depending on the ring size.
I weighed both models on my own scale, and the Silver Size 11 Ringcon Jean 2 Air weighed 3.5 grams, while Black Size 12 Ringcon Jean 2 checked in 2.5 grams.
Dislike: No sleep apnea detection
Standard Ringcon Jean 2 is one of some smart rings with sleep apnea detection in 2025. Unfortunately, the convenience more entry-level General 2 is absent on the wind. Although this is not very surprising, it is a boomer.
With a light design and use of titanium alloy, instead of stainless steel, Sleep is one of the major differences detecting apnea that sets the $ 199 entry-level option in addition to the $ 299 flagship model.
