I tried Google’s new Agentic IDE, and it blows the popular vs. code – how it is here

The longest, Microsoft’s VS code has been one of the most popular IDES (Integrated Developer Environment) on the market. It is free to use and includes all features. Developers need to work.

Microsoft must have been shaking in his shoes when Google disclosed the project idx, which was eventually rebuilt Firebase Studio,

Firebase Studio is a full-stack (both front-end and back-end) AI workpiece that aims to accelerate your development projects. The firebase studio is web-based, so it can be used in any web browser. This new agent IDE allows you to import existing repository from the choice of github, gitlab, bitbucket, or even your local machine.

    Firebase Studio vs Vs Code

As far as this tool vs. versus code is concerned, the firebase studio wins due to agent AI and prototyping tools, making it easier to make, debug and deploy it faster. At its top, where the VS code takes serious system resources, the firebase studio does everything in the cloud, so you can keep working while talking.

The most impressive thing about firebase studios is the app prototype agent, which allows you to create an app using AI Prompts. AI also goes so far that you take your query and improve it to ensure that you get the best results.

Firebase Studio is a serious game-changer. I placed it through pace to create a Kanban board app as a test, and was surprised at how good the first attempt was. Using the protopping agent, I instructed the firebase studio to create a Cannaban Board app that integrates with the Google calendar. Depending on my initial query, the Firebase Studio improved my human-elective input to make it more specific and usable (signal: the better you can be, the better).

It was attractive to see the firebase studio talking about it. After a few minutes, my Kanaban board app appeared, and I can immediately start testing it or even share the app to be tested on mobile devices.

As per all time, the Firebase Studio churned into the construction of my Kanaban Board App, my computer was not so blinking. Why? Because everything is in the cloud, your system resources are not touched. As the Firebase Studios created my app, I thought how it would have taken my system 76 themes down because it chewed every Ram and CPU to offer the machine.

This is not the case with this cloud-based, agentic IDE.

Once your app is completed, you can push it into your guit repository and then pull it to your local machine for further development.

    What is spent in it?

Currently, the firebase is free to use studios. If you choose to publish your app through service, then there is only one cost. You can also generate a free Gemini API (which is required for prototype agent.

As far as you can use for free, details about what you can use, you get free access to its main features, such as AI-Interested IDE, up to 3 Workerspaces (members of Google Developer Program receive up to 30). You can also use free Gemini API, until you are not more than free use levels (the point at which you will increase a cost).

If you want to publish your app, you should have a cloud billing account, the cost of which depends on the use. You can get more information about firebase studio pricing Here,

Any developer who is interested in adding AI to his workflow, if they do not at least do Test-Drive Firebase Studio, it will be a rimis. This service is not only incredibly impressive, but it is easy to use.
