Samsung’s latest smartwatch has arrived. Galaxy Watch 8 LineupWhich includes both Watch 8 and Watch 8 classic, with a rotating bezel, now available to buy, and they are all packed with standard health tracking matrix, and some of their own unique people.
I am now testing Samsung’s Galaxy Watch 8 for a week. I have gone with it, slept, and socializing, and I am sure it is one of the top Android smartwatch you can buy now, whether you are training for marathon or just looking for a competent AI-managed smartwatch.

Before I reach the software that makes this watch so unique, let’s talk on hardware. First, the Galaxy Watch 8 is significantly thinner than both its predecessor and competition. Samsung diluted this watch 11% compared to Watch 7, and when compared to other major smartwatches, the Watch 8 is not thin as the 8 Apple Watch Series 10, but is much thinner than the Pixel Watch 3.
In 3,000 Nits, Watch 8 is currently one of the most bright performances in the game, trumping 2,000 knots offered by Pixel Watch 3 and Apple Watch Series 10. This is a demonstration that will appear out in almost all situations – I had no problem navigating it during my Sunny Run.

Regarding battery life, it is important to note that its long life varies depending on the smartwatch size. I tested a 40-mm-sized smartwatch, and in my experience, when it is used continuously for activity and sleep tracking, it is always with a day and a half day. Disabled that feature will have to squeeze a few more hours from the battery, however, and the clock of large size may also stay you for a while.

I like a small but special touch on Watch 8, there are new multi-info tiles that activate regularly used features. I could easily be left to record an outdoor walk, to check the weather, or look at my sleep score, without getting this information from my respective app several times to press the small screen. This spontaneous and thoughtful product design is some Samsung Excel.
Even before announcing the Watch 8 lineup, Samsung teased some of its most compelling facilities coming through a UI 8. Many of them are related to activity and sleep, which have features such as coaches, antioxidant index and bedtime guidance, its purpose is to customize your health whether you are sleeping or sleep.
Too: My new favorite Android smartwatch rivals Google and Garmin
The running coach is still my favorite feature on Watch 8, and the Smartwatch-Curius will be a major draw for customers. I recently tested it, allowing the watch to assess my running level with a 12-minute test, ending with a personal score on the 10-point scale.
I found a useful application of AI of this feature watch, but also a humble. This gave me the status of three out of ten (yikes), then offered me some training plans to finish the pavement and rapid running. You can set a reminder for your race-training on the clock, and the watch will provide you a personal plan to reach your distance and speed goals.
I have been out of it for a few months, but the bad score I got, really inspired me to run again. A user’s recovery, capacity and experience -level individual running plan is an acceptable tool for novice runners who want to train for its first or next race. As I found in my feature test, it is going on – an already accessible game – even more.
A feature that I had some trouble is the antioxidant index, not because it did not work, but because it continued to reduce my antioxidants, despite regular vegetables, berries, beats and whole foods. The antioxidant acts by placing its thumb on a bioactive sensor at the bottom of the index watch. Then, it reads it in less than ten seconds and ranks your level very low, low, or adequately.

I found the limit between very few and the following, about 41 and 52 out of 100, which seems wrong that I took a lot of care in my diet. Close to this feature, Samsung says that my antioxidant index may vary due to uneven surfaces of my skin. In addition, my index may take up to two weeks to reflect high intake of these nutrients.
The antioxidant index is a great idea, and I hope that in future updates, more biomarkers will be measured on the watch with this bioactive sensor, but right now, it seems that something is missing: some reference, or accuracy functionality that makes it less than the gimmick of health.

Other features, such as gold guidance and cardio load, monitoring your sleep and activity level daily to estimate your ideal sleeping time and wakeup time and cardio capacity. These additions help to adapt your waking and sleep moments with helpful elbow and recommendations. I like any feature that takes your data to estimate your sleep or activity requirement and set the base line.
Samsung is overshadowing its health functionality on its latest smartwatch lineup. This makes sense, given that Samsung is leading in a health-mind direction, with one Recent acquisition Digital Healthcare brand Xealth.
ZDNET purchase advice
Samsung’s running coach feature is one, if this smartwatch does not have the best features. If you are a runner in any capacity, you will appreciate and coach the supporting matrix Galaxy Watch 8 Can provide.
Whether you are training for your first marathon or just want to improve and benefit from some additional data captures (and encouragement), Galaxy Watch 8 is Smartwatch that I suggest for a job, especially if you are an Android user.
