IEEE launched Climate Tech Magazine

IEEE is starting a new publication, IEEE ClimateThe purpose of which is to carry forward the view of the organization’s mission and the benefit of humanity. Publication is expected to focus on how technology can play an important role in reducing and optimizing climate change.

Researchers, engineers, physicians and policy makers will be able to share their knowledge, insight and innovative solutions through the original material published in the magazine.

Editor’s responsibilities mainly

EIC will support the Editorial Mission of the magazine to provide an IEEE-wide, multi-discipline, all-electronic archial magazine that publishes a variety of materials related to climate science. The EIC will be expected to serve a three -year term, with the possibility of re -appointment for an additional three -year tenure. The magazine is expected to be launched at the end of this year, with the first point in 2026.

Candidates should be an IEEE member in good condition, familiar with IEEE publications, and there should be a wide understanding of education, industry and across the government.

IEEE Climate There will be an editorial board – presided over by EIC – will be a professional managing editor along with experts from various fields covered by the magazine. Candidates must be able to attract and develop a diverse team of talented and respected persons to serve in the editorial board.

EIC responsibilities include:

• Shape the overall direction of IEEE Climate,
