Infinix has finally introduced a new gaming-centric smartphone in its GT series in India. The company has launched Infinix GT 30 smartphone in the country, which is starting at the price of rupee. For the base variants, 19,499, which comes with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage version priced at Rs. 20,999. Infinix’s latest smartphone is equipped with a decent set of features and specialties, making it one of the country’s cheapest gaming-centric smartphones. We got some time to spend with the device, and this is what you should know.
To start with the design, Infinix GT 30 has the same design language as the Pro model. You get a cyber macha design language with adaptable white lights on the rear panel. The smartphone has attractive color options, including blade white, cyber green and pulse blue. I got a cyber green color option, which definitely looks premium for the price tag. The gaming-centered design language definitely makes it stand out of the crowd.

Interestingly, the smartphone also comes with Infinix GT trigger on the right side frame. Trigger is optimized and can be used to assign various tasks for gaming, opening application, or shortcuts. The implementation appears smooth, and we will discuss it in more detail during our upcoming review.
Proceeding on the display, Infinix GT 30 has a 6.78 -inch 1.5k AMOLED display with a resolution of 1224×2720 pixels. The handset includes 144Hz screen refrese rate, 2160Hz instant touch sampling rate, peak shine of 4,500 nits, and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The performance looks sharp, and blacks look deep, although we have yet to test them under various circumstances. You also get an IP64 rating, which makes it dust and splash-resistant.

Moving forward, Infinix GT 30 has a MediaTek Dimentation 7400 processor, which is a competent processor. The phone has 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. More importantly, being a gaming-focused device, the Infinix model also supports 90fps BGMI, officially certified by the game developer.
The handset also has an interesting set of gaming enhancements that increase the device’s gaming capabilities. You get Xboost AI features that help you increase gaming performance using various tools. In addition, it also comes with an AI magic voice changer that allows you to change your voice in real time with nine female and six male voices. We will talk more about this in our upcoming review.
Infinix GT 30 5G+ 50-megapixel packs a dual-camera setup with a combination of primary sensor and 8-megapixel wide-angle-lens.
Coming into cameras, Infinix GT 30 has a dual-camera setup on the rear panel. You get a 64-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.75 aperture and dual LED flash with an 8-megapixel ultra-angle-angle lens. On the front, the handset has a 13-megapixel shooter for selfie and video calling. The camera interface shows improvement, and using GT trigger to click on photos is a useful feature.
Finally, Infinix GT packs a battery of 5,500mAh. The smartphone also supports 45W fast charging. Additionally, the handset has an in-display fingerprint sensor and an IR blaster. Given the price tag, that said, Infinix GT 30 will have to face hard competition with IQO Z10R, Oppo K13, Realme P3, and more.
