“Project Batalmetricks” provides a workstation platform supporting up to 8 Arc Pro B60 GPU for AI processing.
While most of us buy graphics cards for gaming, there are also graphics cards for other purposes. NVIDIA has its own quadro range, and the serious range of AMD is sold as the Radeon Pro series. Intel has now been in the graphics business for two generations, and the company is eventually giving the second gene in other non-gaming applications.
Intel today created a group of announcements in Computex 2025, but the most important is a new GPU which is not only for gaming. The company is expanding its Arch Pro family with the new Intel Arc Pro B60 and Intel Arc Pro B50 GPU. These advanced XE2 are built on architecture that use Intel’s Arch B-series GPU. Intel Arc Pro B60 will have the facility of adequate 24 gigabytes (GB) of memory, while B50 will offer 16 GB-even then it is very decent, as both of the current top-off-the-line Arch Arc B580 of Intel offer more VRAMs than the B580 GPU. As a fun fact, Intel seems to be completely forgotten to declare a B770, so the B580 will continue in high-end for the future future.

This is time to start taking Intel GPU seriously
Thanks to low prices and better drivers, Intel Arc GPU is eventually considering.
ARC Pro B60 and B50 GPU Intel XE Matrix Extension (XMX) are equipped with AI core and Ray Tresing units. Technically, they can play games like arc card regularly, but they are more for business purposes than anything. Unlike consumer-focused arc gaming cards, Pro series prefer stability, reliability and performance in professional applications. These workstations go to the server, and are for “serious” work. They can play games, but they are not adapted to gaming because there are consumer-grade arch cards, and they are probably a waste of money if you are not buying them for business purposes. Nevertheless, Intel is good to try in his business-grade GPU.
Intel also revealed a configuable workstation-class platform “Project Batalmetrics” based on Intel Axon processor. This system can support up to eight Intel Arc Pro B60 24GB GPUS, mostly for AI processing purposes, which seems to be hugely customized for these cards. Vivian Lion, vice president and general manager of client graphics at Intel, said, “Intel Arc Pro B-Series shows Intel’s commitment to GPU Technology and Ecosystem Partnership.” He further extended that “with the advanced capabilities of XE2 architecture and a mounting software ecosystem, the new Arc Pro provides access and scalp for small and medium -sized businesses that are looking for targeted solutions.”
These cards will be available from many third-party manufacturers starting next month. One should not buy them for gaming PCs, and you may want to wait on the rest of Intel’s B-series consumer-grade arch GPU, or you can buy whatever you can currently buy on store shelves.
