The new glass look of the iPhone has been toned on Monday with the release of the third developer of iOS 26. This follows the user complaints that the update made the user more difficult to read parts of the interface.
In June in WWDC 2025, Tech veteran introduced its new design language, known as liquid glass, inspired by the optical properties of glass in the real world, in which it refrains light and its transit nature.
But the first developer beta of iOS 26 is still left for improvement in case of purpose, access and ease with the initial version in Beta and other apple’s equipment.
Last month, Apple fixed some more major issues with liquid glass, such as it made the control center so transparent that the iPhone shines through home screen icons and widgets, causing visual disorder and confusion.
Monday’s update apple takes another step to dial things from an over-glazed look in many major areas. While Beta 2 addressed problems with the control center, Beta 3 focuses in other areas of the mobile operating system, such as Apple Music such as Apple Music notifications and navigation within the first-party apps of Apple.
For example, the navigation bar in Apple’s streaming music app no longer sees the background shining slightly, choosing for a more solid white.

Information is also less transcendent, as there is darkness in the background behind the text, the contrast increases.

While changes certainly make features easy to read, some users now complain that Apple has gone far away in the other direction, “frosted glass” aesthetic.
However, it is worth remembering that these are only developers Betus – the initial version of the mobile operating system that will not be finalized until this decline is finalized. The point of beta software is to allow apple to collect feedback, find bugs and address issues before rolling the software more widely.
This means that Apple can continue the liquid glass look-end-face on the upcoming release to find a sweet space for new glass look within every app and screen.
