The battery features of the iPhone are getting an upgrade in iOS 26. Now over the years, Android phones have prominently depicted how long you have to charge full. The information is available on the lock screen, and it is incredibly easy. Finally, with a new adaptive battery mode, Apple will also offer it. These are some of the iOS 26 features that are borrowing from the Apple competition, and they are all part of a new re -designed battery section in the Settings app.
The iOS 26 is currently available as a developer beta. If you want to test it, you are free to download and install it, but for stability, I usually recommend you to wait to the least public beta that is going to be out for some time in mid -July.
Charging time
The first change is the easiest, but only when you pay attention. On iOS 26, when you plug into your iPhone, you will see regular charging indicators. But, for one or two seconds, Apple will flash how long it will take to charge your iPhone 80% or 100% (based on your maximum charge setting). It will be just above the clock, where the day and date usually occur. This blink-end-u will-miss-it, unfortunately, because it will disappear in just one or two seconds.

In iOS 26, when you go to the head setting , BatteryYou will get a new re -designed battery screen. Above, you will see a battery bar. If your iPhone is charging, you will see how much time it will take to charge up to 80%, and then up to 100%.

Below, you will see that your battery charts are now displayed in a simple weekly scene, such as screen over time.
What do you think so far?
The new weekly charts are quite wide. Apple will analyze and compare the use of your battery throughout the week, tells how your current use compare with a specific day. A few days, you can use more batteries than what you usually do, and the charts will pay attention to it. They will also tell you which apps are removing your battery the most.
For more detail, you can tap See all battery uses Button to reach a wide interactive chart. Here, tap on any day to use your battery use and more granular look in charging history. You can scroll down to see how much juice you have to use, and how they have compared with a weekly average. You can also choose a single app to see the history of its battery throughout the week. Quite calm.
Adaptive power genre

And finally, optional Adaptive power genrefound in Battery , power modeIt is Apple’s new battery saving feature, which is disabled by default, and it uses all your battery analysis data to make intelligent decisions on battery management. It is said that you are more heavy than normal, and the possibility of bringing it back 10% charge is thin. In that case, your iPhone will begin to make small twics such as decreasing the performance slightly, reducing the shine of the screen, or taking more time to process some intensive tasks. Also, if this feature is capable, your phone will automatically turn on low power mode when your battery reaches 20 percent.
