Ultra-split and light phone market is officially at its tipping point, as Apple has thrown his hat in the ring this week iPhone Air,
The most latest and most new iPhone in the most new iPhone features the company’s thinnest design to measure around 5.6 mm thick so far. How did the people of Cupertino achieve such a record? By choosing for a small battery, less cameras, and some design elements that obstruct the ideal, especially by iPhone standards. In other words, it is a completely different animal.

If you should buy iPhone air …
1. You want less risky diluted phone
What do I mean by that? For the beginning, the iPhone Air starts at $ 999, reduces the S25 edge less than $ 100, so it is already an investment that should be easy to manage. That money you get 256GB of internal storage (similar to Samsung), Apple’s repubital software update policy, which keeps the phone below the road for years, and an iOS experience that has proved to be reliable for app support and liquidity.

It goes without saying that if you are a current iPhone user, the iPhone Air two would be a better option, such as easy data transfer (including PESKY contacts that never protects properly) and with access to a familiar suit of iOS and facetime with access to a familiar suit of iOS and facetime.
Apple’s retail appearance is also much stronger than Samsung, with several stores centralized for smooth service in (and outside) in the popular cities of America.
2. You are often out (and want the best scene)
Apple says that the wind of the iPhone can reach the peak of 3,000 nits by defeating the 2,600-night rating of the S25 Edge. This simply means that the iPhone will appear bright out or under acute lighting, making the device easier to read, browse and navigate.

As far as other displays visit the specs, the iPhone AIR S25 competes squares with the edge, from 120Hz display to the stability of glass layering. You can also argue that the small 6.5-inch screen size of the iPhone makes it easier to work with one hand compared to the 6.7-inch screen of the S25 edge.
If you should buy Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge …
1. You want more flexible camera system
While both manufacturers had limited form factors to make cameras, Samsung provides more creative freedom with S25 edge. It begins with the 200MP main sensor (compared to 48MP of the iPhone Air), which enables high-resolution images when crop or capture in raw.
Then you are the factors in additional 12MP ultravide sensors that increase the width of the shots that you can take. I hope that Apple will marketing heavily of the “fusion camera” of the iPhone Air, but I believe that when I say any artificial amendment will never defeat pure, physical optics.
2. You want a more feature-pack phone
Android phones are always more functional than iPhones, and this is perfect for the S25 edge. Compared to iPhone Air, Samsung handset has a more expander AI toolkit supported by both Galaxy AI and Gemini services of Google. This includes circle to search, a more comprehensive image editing suit, system-wide translation capabilities, and more.
The S25 Edge also supports the physical SIM card, while the iPhone is only ESIM, no matter which area you buy handsets. It can be a deal breaker for frequent passengers, which require local SIM cards or customers’ use, who do not just want to digitize their SIM cards.
Also, finally, a Samsung phone that I will put my S25 Ultra Away (especially at this price)
For audio-listers, the S25 Edge packs the mono audio channel of a stereo speaker system vs. iPhone. Outputing a loud and rich sound compared to the galaxy would be very difficult for the iPhone, even though the apple embed some screen vibration technique to help increase audio.
Finally, the S25 Edge has a larger battery of 3,900mAh compared to the estimated 2,800mAh capacity of the iPhone Air. Nevertheless, those numbers do not tell full endurance story, so we have to test the iPhone to see how customized the device.
