    ZDNET’s takeaways

    • Google Meet is currently experiencing a broad outage.
    • There are some workarounds, such as using an app or any other browser.
    • Google accepted the problem but has not yet deployed a fix.

If you are having trouble with Google Meat today, you are not alone.

Google’s popular video conference software, which we have named the best video conferencing software for small businesses, suffer from a comprehensive outage.

Shortly before 2 pm, An outage report Spicking began on a popular outage tracking site downdetector.com. After there was no problem throughout the day, around 15,000 users suddenly reported issues. Within a few minutes, the user was flooding on social media with complaints about missing meetings and classes – and of course, some ceremonies that should have been an email, now had toast.

Given that the report is at once, it seems that the outage is affecting a lot of users. Other Google products, such as scope, chat, gmail, and even discovery saw a spike in reports, but the levels found anywhere.

Some workaround for Google Meat Outage

I was able to get the Google Meat website to load, but it just rotates if I try to start a meeting. I got some work -round, though.

The meat app is fine and when I tried I was able to make a video call and receive. Some users are also saying that they were able to use meat in safari, although I was not able to test it. This may not be a viable answer for mass meetings and classrooms, but if you are looking for one by one you can find it.

The company saw a similar disruption in June, but was resolved in less than an hour.

At the time of this writing, Google’s Cloud service health status page Gmail is reporting service issues with Google Calendar and Google Drive. Google accepts the problem Workspace dashboardWhere it said, “Some google meet customers are experiencing issues with loading meat UIs,” and “our engineering team continues to investigate the issue.”

I have reached Google to see if he has any other detail.
