- AV Access KVM Docking Station promises 8K gaming performance on a double-monitor, double-computer switch dock
- The objective of eleven ports is to consolve your hub, docks, and splitors’ disturbances in a device.
- 100 watts of charging power put this dock in serious workstation area, not only facilities
In a market in a market with goods claiming to have its setup, AV Access announced a new contender: Idock B10.
The new KVM docking station has been marketed as an all-in-one solution for a double-computer setup, providing support for two 8K monitors at 60Hz or is at ultra-high refresh rates up to 240Hz.
This level of resolution may not be necessary for most users, but AV access is targeting performance-conscious professionals and gamers that prefer both speed and visual clarity.
Ease and intensive charge made to switch
This device provides more than some laptop hubs and even some laptop docking stations, including high -speed USB expansion, video output and integrated KVM functionality.
Idock B10 contains 11 ports: USB 3.0, HDMI, Displayport, Gigabit Eternet, a SD card slot and 3.5 mm headphone jack.
It also gives 100W power enough to charge the high-demonstration laptop during extended use.
Its main function allows users to control both a laptop and a desktop to control a desktop with a single keyboard, mouse, and monitor, either to switch between them using the front panel button or wired remote.
“In today’s hybrid work environment, flexibility is necessary, especially for professionals such as graphic designers, software developers and gaming enthusiasts,” said Bill Leeo, CTO of AV Access.
At $ 224.99, with a 10% launch discount, Idock B10 is not cheap, but it attempts to change that many devices usually require.
For users who require a dual-monitor setup capable of shifting between two computers without signal dropouts or peripheral interval, B10 can be a meaningful investment.
However, Dual-8K support, equivalent to 66 million pixels, still has an extreme offer, especially when most creative professionals work with 4K displays.
AV Access has also launched a 4K version called IDock M10 for MacBook users, and is offering summer discounts on other models such as C10 and C20s.
