Another day, another example of James Gun reveals news about DCU on threads. This time, it is about the film “The Batman: Part II” and Still Untitled “Teen Titans”.
Yesterday (4 August), a fan took a later scoop on the DCU project in the social media network. “@Jamesgunn,” user @Starship7567 Asked the gun on the threads. “Is it true that Teen Titans film will include 2003 rosters, but with Damian Wayne as Robin?”
About an hour later, Gunn returned with an unevenly blunt answer: “Everything you have heard about that film is or is an estimate. Nobody knows anything about the concept for the story except four people in the world.”
Sensing opportunity, another fan replied to Gunn, “What about Hush in ‘The Batman Part II’?”
“Again,” Gunn replied, “whatever you have heard is a total estimate or made.”
‘Teen Titans’ looks on the back burner for now
This exchange on Threads was not the first time Gunn made news about the film “Teen Titans” in the last week. Last week, when promoting the upcoming “Peacemaker” season 2, user @ifalcao_ Gun asked about the project.
“James,” he asked, “Have you read the script for Ana Nogira’s teenage Titans?”
Then, Gunn’s response was characteristic blunt. “It doesn’t exist,” DC Studio cum-CEO replied. “He is at WW for a while.”
This caused some confusion. Noguria was linked to a new “Wonder Woman” film, the news was made public just before San Diego Comic-Con. But in February, Gunn and DC Studios co-CEO Peter Safran confirmed the media that the “Kishore Titans” script prepared by Nogira (H/T/T) was script. Diversity,
The user @kritian_k26 indicated the gun to this previous reporting in a north from February, which the gun then clarified.
“I don’t understand,” Gunn replied. “We said the script has not ended there. I asked Ana to go to WW that he was first finished and she did it.”
So, it seems that yes, a “teen titans” script exists. And no, it’s not a ready script, and you or I do not really know what is in it. Now, what is yet to be seen is that if Nogira will return to the project at some point, if “Teen Titans” is on the back burner for good.
