In my twenty years as a professional writer, I don’t think I have ever been ready to use the keyboard before. Some are good, some are bad, some, such as on modern themes, are easily the best. You can get on a laptop and provide very comfortable typing experience.
In fact, I always hate transforming into a new keyboard, the muscle memory with unavoidable typos and finger-slips goes out of the window and the brain tries to re-create new key placements.
But never, sometimes, what I wanted to find excuses to type something, pressed anything on a keyboard, or just a few keys because I passed the desk for the thrill of all this.
As long as that is, I found my hands on the Keychron V6 Max Mechanical Keyboard. And if I could, I sit on my desk all day and all night, just feel that pleasing response, listen to satisfactory clake-chlack because my fingers press the key. This can only be the best office keyboard I have ever used.

Kikron V6 Max: Design

This small animal is beautifully designed, with its carbon black frame and light and dark blue key. For me, it looks really business, eye catcher but professional.
Unlike some keycron keyboard, such as we reviewed Q6 Max, this model is made of a rigid ABS plastic rather than dense aluminum. It is still very heavy, however, and not favorable to portability. On the other hand, the weight also made it very stable, when I used it, the even slight provocation refused to the desk. So, professionals and opposition.
V6 comes in a range of Max configurations – first, you can choose between a barebuilding version and one that is fully assembled.
In the US, you will get double-shot OSA PBT Kaikaps, while in the UK, you can choose between PBT and ABS Keys, allowing backlight to shine later.

Along with the top row, located between F12 and print screen, there is a strong volume knob that can be clicked on muted/anamute. This is really useful if you want easy access to volume control, and if you don’t do it is easily ignored.
There are two switches around the back to change compatibility between Windows, Mac and Android devices and change compatibility between alternative connectivity (2.4GHz, cable and Bluetooth). There is a nab on the right with both USB and USB-C receiver.
In the box, you will also find a treasure of tools – a charging cable, kicap and switch puller, screwdriver, screw, hex (allen), extension adapters for receiver, and eleven replacement keys.

One of the large highlights of Kycron V6 Max is its near-coal adaptability, both physically and when using the app Launcher. keychron.comYou have to run chrome, age, or opera and connect the keyboard to the wire. I found the app keyboard very quickly – not immediately, but quite early. And I was pleasantly surprised by the host of options on the proposal here.
Surely the most useful here is the spice, where you can change all the key that does when pressed. It is very straightforward to use. Then, along with it, is an important test to ensure that everything is running smoothly, an alternative to making macro, which will be required for coders, firmware updates and bugs reporting, and backlight selection.
In my brain, this backlight tab is the place where every user must first head. To manually change the backlight of the keyboard, you will need to turn it on with FN + Tab, then need to cycle through each option using FN + Q. Here is the weight of the preset, but I tell you, it is right for you – and takes age to find a wrong press and you will need to ride cycling through them again. On the other hand, in the app, you can quickly find your favorite style, and adjust the color using the palette. Work done.
All of them, I thought the app was a good extra that gives you a lot of control over layouts and style how you want to perform the keyboard.

It is a complete pleasure to use keyboard. Typing seems natural, comfortable, I used it for hours and hours at a time and never had any problem. Each keystroke is registered quickly and accurately, and there is a pleasing tenderness for each one. What else do you want from a mechanical keyboard?
Of course, it helps that it is incredibly adapable to your work, and claims a gasket mount design with sound-proofing foam under the desk hood. Saying that, it is not silent in any way during use. As a mechanical keyboard, it has a silent clake that will remind readers of a certain age readers of busy offices and typist pools.
Personally, I enjoy the sound when it is in full writing flow- it is somehow soothing. However, this will not be ideal for those looking for super low-profile keyboard, where a scissors-switch or rubber-dome keyboard will provide a cool experience.
Kicron also claims that the V6 Max has a polling rate of 1000Hz, which has theoretical delay of 1MS. Therefore, while it should easily handle competitive gaming, it is not strictly designed for it.
For me, it is one of the best keyboards around, which is fully deployed for productivity professionals, students, programmers – effectively anyone who is going to spend a lot of time at its desk. On that score, it provides a terrible experience.

Buy it if …
You want to relax while typing
When I talk about normal typing, I can’t make a mistake in the overall performance of the V6 Max, even at the speed.
You want to customize your set-up
This keyboard can basically be configured in any way, which you want, from switching the kicap to re -defining the key map using the app.
Do not buy it if …
You don’t type much
For the price and glasses here, it is going to be overcome to send topical emails or to respond to teams – although it will look good while doing so, at least.
You want a silent keyboard
As a mechanical keyboard, it is not quiet at all, which you want in shared workspaces.
