Lava shark 5G India launch set on 23 May; Price less than Rs 10,000

Lava Shark 5G is ready to launch in India soon. The company has officially teased the main features of the handset with the announcement of its launch date. The price limit of the phone has also surfaced. The main details about the upcoming smartphone were recently leaked. This existing lava shark is expected to be a similar design language for 4G, which was introduced in the country in March. 4G variants get UNISOC T606 SoC, 18W wired charging support with 5,000mAh battery and 50-megapixel primary rear camera.

Lava shark 5G will be launched in India on 23 May, the company said in a press release. It is claimed that there is an entutu score of over 4,00,000. The phone will support LPDDR4X RAM and its price in the country is Rs. 10,000.

Lava said that the upcoming shark 5G handset will be equipped with a 13-megapixel AI-supported main rear camera sensor. It will have an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance.

An earlier leak suggested that lava shark 5G would come with a dual rear camera unit. This will possibly be introduced in blue and gold color options. The round LED flash unit placed in the camera island has a circular design around it.

A geekbench list of Lava shark suggests 5G This will possibly be paired with 4GB of RAM by an Unisoc T765 SoC. This is expected to support 64GB onboard storage and run on Android 15 out-of-the-box.

Lava shark 4G version priced in India. 6,999 for 4GB + 64GB option. The smartphone has a 6.7-inch HD+ display with 120Hz, 50-megapixel main rear camera sensor and 8-megapixel selfie shooter. It is operated by the UNISOC T606 SoC and 5,000mAh battery with 18W wired charging support. The smartphone comes with an IP54 dust and splash-resistant rating.
