I am writing this article in June 2025, and with what I do, I have not held more virtual meetings than today in my average working day. I constantly jump between virtual meetings, in-tradition meetings, projects, tasks, phone calls, slacks and more. However, a large part of many people’s day-to-day life is spent on virtual meetings. This expanded out of the requirement during the Covid-19 epidemic. By 2025, most meetings are default for virtual until otherwise specified. I experienced it today with a client meeting. One of the first things I focused about this camera is that it has a dial around the camera that is only to close the shutter physically. The design is smooth, this professional is yet stylish, and it looks great about any scope. I set it in my home office, in my product shoot area, a more traditional “office” location, and it is also quite small that I took it with me on a trip to my backpack so that I could keep a great video quality away from my desk.

For my use case, I have again chosen to allow the framing feature, but I slowed it down. I often stand on my workstation and when I stand, I roam a little. When it is just on me, it is not distracted, but if my camera is constantly adjusting me to find me and zoom in and zoom out, it is a bit ridiculous.
So, I slowed down reforming, and it seemed to be beautifully done to the trick. Personally, I do not have many uses for show mode, but I can see this super assistant useful for those who are physically drawing, showing what they are doing, or if you are teaching, this feature can be super good to be able to perform better for your online audience if you are doing what is going on.
I have seen that MIC works better than my expectation. Over the years, I was an airpod-online type of person for a virtual meeting, but as webcam has improved in this way, for a few meetings, I have used webcam mic. So far, I have only heard positivity about the clarity of my audio. I have yet to mention that it is mafled, unclear, unconscious or poor.
A negative aspect for Windows users that I have seen is the lack of ability to sink with Windows Hello, which means that you have to use the camera of your laptop for this feature or use another login method when you are docked. This is a boomer to ensure, but I also understand why Lodithek did not want to go through that certification process.
