Now, I can only speak for the quality of Kiwi design grips because I have tested them – they are also on sale for Prime Day, but not as cheap, so I have not recommended them here – but I always thought that VR controller grips were useless until I used a pair.
Once I had, I realized that they provide some valid benefits.
For a beginning, they keep changing the controller more securely in your hand, which is ideal for more active games – like Peat sabar – Where you are throwing your arms around. Additionally, I think with these grip, I can let the controller go and still turned it into my hands.
It looks a little more realistic than handling objects in VR because I can let something go completely.
These designs also have a battery window, which allows you to remove and replace your controller’s battery without removing the entire grip cover, which is a supporting upgrade to say at least.
If you are in the UK, you can also save big on cheap silicone facial interfaces for Quest 3 and Quest 3S – just make sure that you get the right size for your headset, as two meta devices are different.
