Lucid is going to roll free features with its first hand. On July 30, lousid air sedan owners with DreamDrive Pro Ad-on will get automatic drive assist and lane-changes features. If you have a gravitational SUV, you have to wait by the end of this year.
Facilities will arrive through an OTA update for vehicles with DreamDrive Pro Hardware. The alternative add-on has 32 sensors, including lidar, radar, ultrasonic sensors and cameras. The DreamDrive Pro already supports semi-autonomous features such as lane change assist and curve control.
New drive assist and lane-changes features carry forward automation, making you free from hands. (Your eyes should still be on the road, of course). Facilities will only work on splitting highways.
Lucid is included in the growing pack of EV manufacturers with hand -free options. This is a list that is now beyond Tesla’s autopylot and full-self-drawing. Rivian, GM, Ford and Nissan each have automatic options.
As a lousid, it is a recent rocky ride, reflecting the widespread unrest of the industry. After reducing its workforce by 1,300 in 2023, there were two rounds of trimmed to cut 400 people last year. Gravity SUV A positive welcome is given. (It is now rolling out, joining the air sedan in the lineup.) Lucid is also expanding its real estate. Earlier this year, the automaker acquired an Arizona plant owned by bankrupt Nicola.
