A few years ago, AI-Janit Video Clip was a laughing stock on the internet-no one remembers AI-Janit’s bad dreams Will Smith put Spagheti downTechnology has come a long way since then: Today, Tech Startups are competing to deliver generative AI tools, which aims to rival the quality of Hollywood production studios at least in their vision of the future – at a small fraction of the cost.

Latest development in that competition, AI Startup Luma ai Announced its new video-generating model, Ray3 on Thursday. Its other product, Luma Dream Machine, lets users just make videos from their photos.
The model is now available through dream MachineIt is also accessible to pay customers of Adobe’s Fireworks and Creative Cloud Pro, which can generate unlimited videos through the model by 1 October.
A “argument” AI video model
You have heard of the so -called argument models such as OPENAI’s O3, which is thought to consider a quarry, especially complex people, for more time to more useful and fully return the answer than standard generative AI models. But thus, those models did not have video-generating capabilities.

According to Ray3, Luma AI, different from companies like Google is different from competitive devices, routeMeta, and Openai mainly due to the ability to “cause” when generating video clips.
It is a vaguely defined and ontologically a debate -worthy term that is thrown a lot these days how the AI system is marketed, “understanding,” “creativity,” and “agency” like a bit. In simple terms, it refers to the ability to break problems in several stages of a model, reflects on the quality of its output, and improves them over time.
Instead of making videos from a text prompt, the Ray3 breaks the production process in several stages, such as a creative team. It has multimodal region capabilities, which means that it can generate lessons with visual assets to help users sketch concepts for the final video.
For example, filmmakers may indicate the system to anote images to the system or to suggest camera angles for sequences of shots. The model is also the first of its kind, according to Luma AI, to be able to give video output in the 4K high dynamic range, which means that it offers a very comprehensive visual spectrum of light and shadow.

“Results are videos that feel more consistent, with characters that look consistent, scenes that come naturally over time, and physics that they should behave,” Luma AI has written in one Press release,
Luma AI has publicly not disclosed any limit on the length of the video that can generate Ray3, and the company did not immediately respond to the ZDNET request to comment on the subject.
Automatic creative partner
Luma AI Ray3 is positioned as an automated creative partner for filmmakers, video game designers and advertisers.
For example, a new “draft mode” enables Ray3 to generate a variety of test clips, with each subtle variety, provides creative teams with several options and saves them time on the idea process.
“It allows the creators to enter a position of flow, using independently without worrying about the calculation of time or costs,” Luma AI wrote.

Other AI developers are selling their own equipment on the basis that they can work as automatic creative partners, on which humans can take off the time-intensive and regular tasks, saving them in this process. Earlier this week, for example, Amazon unveiled an AI agent, which can help brands with almost every stage of the process of making a small video advertisement.
