A new month means that many new films are blooming in the best streaming services. To find out what to look forward, is a great place to start the top 10 list of Max, offering a quick snapshot that the larger subscriber base of the platform considers the most discussed films.
Gave, Max’s most viewed list does not guarantee a high ranking film’s hit. Lots of duds that are not worth promotional, will essentially be on the surface at the top. To prevent you from wasting your precious streaming time, I show my favorite in the Max Top 10 list to show which one is really worth adding to your wrathist.
This week’s pics include a divisive erotic thriller led by Nicole Kidman, one of the best science-fi thrillers of 2025, and is a cheerful and heartbreaking friend about the disturbances of adult friendship.
So without further movement, here are maximum top 10 movies that I think you should see first.
The article is based on Max Top 10 films in the US, which is up to 11: O0 AM ET on Sunday, 11 May.
Best movies in Max’s top 10
‘Baby girl’
The much -awaited erotic thriller “Babigirl” of A24 was strong at number 1 on Max as it started on streamer on 25 April, and it is easy to see why.
Nicole Kidman has not only proved himself as the queen of the secrets of the murder of the sea, but also the aging romance. She acts as Romi Mathis, a high -power CEO, which carefully curate life begins to expose with the arrival of a charismatic young intern (Harris Dicinson).
Before she feels it, she pulls herself into a tornado of desire that she would again be buried after years of settling an unknown marriage.
Although Sinopsis may look like a glossier cousin of “50 shades of gray”, the Dutch filmmaker Halina Region traded the sensationality for sophistication, offering a slowly burnt drama that is emotionally charged because it is stimulating. Just don’t make it a family film night watch.

‘partner’
My colleague Elix said “Companion” one of the best science-fi thrilpers ever, and I am there with him. “Heritic” and “Yellow Jacket” Star Sophie Thatcher is quickly strengthening herself as the queen of screaming to see herself, but she actually took it to another level in this style- and a jolt of mind.
“Barburion,” “partner” follows the Irish (thecher) and his lover Josh (“The Boys” Star Jack Quad), which is perfect for a remote weekend for a remote weekend for a remote weekend, which is being hosted by a freak billionaire called Sergei (Rupert Friend).
However, the journey takes a terrible turn when Iris appears drowning in the blood one morning. Soon, it turns out that he is not human, but a hyper-intelligent AI fellow robot who is made as an ideal partner who is now free from his programming obstacles.
It is packed with twist and unstable turns, “partner” is a kind of film that is best experienced with some spiiler, but when we say this is a watch that will not regret you.

‘Adult Best Friends’ (2025)
It is difficult to make friends as an adult, but keep them through career changes, marriage and existence spiral? Practically a full -time job. This is the same that dives Max’s new road trip comedy “Adult Best Friends”.
A standout at last year’s Tribeca Film Festival, it is based on real-life friendship between director and star Delne Buffett and his co-writer and co-star KT Corvin. He plays two lifetime for the best whose co-resurrection is deep, but as soon as he enters the 30s, his binding begins to infatement.
When Katie engages her lover John (Mason Goodting), she plans an indifferent journey, who returns with her hometown with Dlani (Buffett), so that she can break the news as much as possible.
But what is believed that a heart -wrenching memory lane is to walk down, quickly develops in the chaos that swells. Old fire flames, eccentric stranger, and lingering drama crashes the party, leading their friendship to the brink and proves that growing up is optional, but may be different.
