    MediaTek Dimenses 9400E unveiled, will debut on Realme GT 7 and OnePlus Ace 5 racing version

    The MediaTek Demides 9400E was unveiled in China on Wednesday as the latest chipset for mobile devices from Taiwan -based chipmaker. This will compete against Snapdragon 8S General 4 chipset from Qualcomm. Demistance 9400E features all the large core CPU architecture, with four cortex-x 4 core at 3.4GHz and a 12-core Immortalis-G 720 GPU with support for hardware ray tracing. The new chipset also supports several large language models K-device operation, and enabling support for Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity.

    According to the company, the new MediaTek Demistance will be available on the 9400E smartphone in the coming weeks. The first smartphones equipped with chipset from Realme and OnePlus have been slated to debut by the end of May.

    According to the details shared by the smartphone manufacturers on Wednesday, Realme GT7 will be launched in India on 27 May with a 9400E chipset, while the OnePlus Ace 5 Racing Edition (or Ultra) will be there. Launched in China with Same processor,

    The MediaTek Dimentation 9400E is designed using the third generation 4Nm process technology of TSMC, and all have large core CPU architecture. It has four arm cortex-X4 core, with a peak clock speed of 3.4GHz and four Cortex-A720 Big Core on 2GHz. Demistance 9400E has a 12-core Immortalis-G720 GPU which supports hardware-level mobile rand tracing.

    The chipmaker has also equipped the Demitten 9400E with a MediaTek EPU 790 that will enable support for generic AI features on smartphones and other mobile devices. It supports the large language models such as Dipsek-R1-Dystil (Qwen1.5B/LLAMA7B/LLAMA8B) model as well as on-device processing for Gemini Nano with multimodality and Llava -5 7B.

    Smartphones equipped with 9400E Demitty will provide support for Wi-Fi 7, 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS and NAVIC. They can be equipped with a 320-megapixel rear camera and support video recording of up to 8k/ 30fps or 4K/ 60fps. MediaTek says that the chip enables to see Bluetooth connectivity between 5 km away.
