Meta Superintendent Labs (MSL) was reportedly created by the company’s CEO, Mark Zuckerberg. According to several reports, the new group was formed as a part of the reorganization of the existing meta AI division. The MSL group now has a title of division for the company with focus on developing the next generation of large language model (LLMS) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. The group will be led by former scale AI CEO Alexandra Wang, who joined the Meta this month.
According to a Bloomberg ReportZuckerberg wrote a memorandum to the meta staff in which he was informed about the reorganization process and the construction of MSL. Based on the documents viewed by the publication, MSL will be led by Wang and the current AI division will be led. The CEO of Meta allegedly called Wang “the most influential founder of his generation”.
Github owned by Microsoft, former CEO of Nat Freidman, will allegedly lead “partners with Alex” MSL. Meta has allegedly created 11 new reindeer for the group, with new employees joining rivals such as openi, anthropic, Google deepmind, and more.
