If you use Microsoft’s authent for autofil password on your phone, you will soon see a warning to export your password and transfer to Microsoft Edge or other password managers by July 2025, if you are not already. This facility will be removed from the authentic by August 2025.

Since your saved passwords and addresses are sinks in your Microsoft account, you can still access them from the built-in password manager of the edge, even if you do not export your password from the data offnticator. Exporting your password from Microsoft Artist is a simple process. follow these steps:

Open the microsoft authentic authentic and tap three vertical dots on the top right. Tap again Settings.

Scroll down until you see Export passwords Option. This saves your password in a CSV file that you can use to import them to another password manager.
Keep in mind that your passwords are not encrypted in the CSV file and are clearly readable. As soon as you are importing, remove this file and do not share it with anyone.
Note that this only applies to the password manager of the authentic. The rest of the apps, including your multi-factor code generator and passki support, will continue to work as usual.
Microsoft, of course, wants you to start using edge’s autofil abilities, which gives you another reason to switch to your browser on mobile if you are using another browser. If you do not want to use the edge, do not start saving your password in your notes app yet; Better options are available.
