
Microsoft is investigating a known Onedrive issue, which is visible for some users or also gives no results when searching for files that they know they have already uploaded.
One in Assistant document Updated this week, the company shared that it affects Bug Windows, Android, iOS and web users.
“Some Onedrive individual account users can notice that search results appear empty or do not return files that they know. While files are still present and accessible, they do not appear in search results,” Microsoft explains in one Assistant document Published this week.
“We are actively investigating the root cause. This issue affects a satent of users, and we are working closely with the support teams to better understand the scope.”
Redmunds are working to find the root cause of these ongoing discovery problems that are affecting users on most onedrive platforms. Microsoft said that there is no known workaround for the affected people and there is no estimated timeline for a fix.
The company said, “We recognize the impact on the issue and want to assure you that we are working with urge to resolve it as soon as possible. Thanks to your patience because we work to solve it,” the company said.
Microsoft is also investigating a separate issue affecting iOS users and causing slo-Mo videos uploaded to ONEDRIVE to play at normal speed.
The company suggests that people who experience this experience share the video manually from their iOS gallery to upload the video or add it to the onedrive via an automatic camera roll backup.
Earlier this year, in January, Redmund set another known issue, freezing the MACOS apps on opening or saving files in ONEDRIVE.
As Redmund explained that when it accepts the bug in November, it only affects the system running the Macos 15 Sequoia operating system of Apple.
