- An employee used a very bad AI-Janit image to advertise graphic designer jobs in Xbox
- The image shows a female writing code that somehow appears behind a computer monitor, among other problems
- Advertisement is particularly strange as Microsoft has recently completed more than 9,000 people to complete.
A post on LinkedIn seeking graphic designers for Xbox is going viral for irony of terrible AI-rented graphics. Major development lead for Xbox graphics, Mike Matsacle shared Post Announcing the roles, at first glance, a workstation seems to have a spontaneous cartoon of a woman in the typing code. Except the code is behind its monitor, and it is the beginning of issues with image.
The fact that Microsoft finished the latest of several rounds of trimmed, affected over 9,000 people, including many in the Xbox division, a few weeks ago, it makes it even more strange.

The more you examine the image, the more clear it was that it was (bad) produced with AI. The computer is unrelated to anything, the desk fade away in nothing, and the shadow has no meaning. Also, will Microsoft Apple clearly want someone’s graphic using the headphone? To not mention the fact that, in 2025, you are not very likely to see someone with a corded iPhone headphone of about 20 years ago.
The image at least sells the idea that Microsoft is in dire need of graphic designers, or at least people who know that graphics are very wrong. Dozens of comments on the post emphasize how many people get posts. There are many developers and graphic designers who are otherwise interested in positions.
Funny ai
The fact is that it was not just a bad image, but the entire point of the job is being advertised, it is actually an arbitrary. It is like handing over to flyers for a bakery that uses a melting candle clip art with “bread” written on the enclosed label.
This is so bizarrely bad that more than some comments surprised whether it was on the purpose. This can be a way to draw attention to open positions, or, it is not possible that it could be, a form of malicious compliance with someone was instructed to use AI to declare open jobs after their colleagues in those posts. Or perhaps it was the fastest satire seen on LinkedIn.
They are wildly unlikely principles, but they are suggest that they are not completely impossible. Everything is concerned about an advertisement as a symbol of people, especially about being advertised of very artistic jobs, will be much more pronounced to use in a joke. Nevertheless, obviously, this is still reality.
The fact that Microsoft is currently investing billions of dollars in AI, only adds to inconsistent reaction. Even if it was not formally approved by Microsoft, it still has their Xbox logo. Again, even senior officials can withstand AI when discussed and use.
Just last week, the executive manufacturer of the publication of the Xbox game studio suggested to Matt Turnbull that people recently let AI chatbots help to end their emotional crisis and find new jobs. He reduced the essay to encourage former employees to use AI tools and find both jobs and “emotional clarity,”, but this graphic disaster appears to the public, as opposite to the code hiding behind the back of the monitor.
