Motorola is kicking the hot foldable summer in style – and earlier this year. Around this time it is offering not two but Three RAZR model premium with the introduction of RAZR Ultra. It comes with some remarkable upgradation, and the three phones improve some quality life such as a strong hinge. But the hardware updates are otherwise at least, while the moto barely bends in the eyes catching colors and finish for its fun flip phone.
Let’s simply call it in front: Ultra costs $ 1,299. It likes, Samsung Galaxy Ultra region, which is just a lot of money for a phone. For that price you get a generous 16GB RAM and 512GB storage in the base model and a Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset, which is the Android Flagship processor du magazine. Ultra 30W provides up to wireless charging and 68W wired charging. It also has a 7 -inch internal screen compared to RAZR and RAZR Plus, which is slightly brighter to 4,500 notes compared to 3,000 NITs. Oh, and a dedicated AI button, which is more on it in a second.
Ultra shares a 4-inch outer screen size similar to Razr Plus, but the camera department in Razr Ultra has some different hardware. The main, ultravide and selfie cameras have 50 megapixel sensors in each. RAZR and RAZR Plus also offer 50-megapixel main cameras, but the ultra sensor uses large pixels: 2.0μm bind “quad pixel” versus 0.8μm at the other two.
However this is the case: Wooden grain back panel. Ultra gets some funny new finishes, including a real wooden back panels that are giving Moto X. More wooden gadgets, please. There is also Something called Alakantara That you must have seen once on the microsoft surface. It is a synthetic fabric that has a suede feel and it comes in a dark green color that I really dig. Ultra also comes in a deep red finish with a texture and also in a magenta-nine pink that sees the house on the Razr line.
All three phones come with an updated hinge that uses titanium instead of stainless steel, and Motorola says it is four times stronger than the previous design. When the phone is open, this internal screen also reduces the crease. I have never been very upset to start the crease, but it practically disappears on these new phones, and you can barely feel it under your finger. It is a way scary.
All three RAZR models come with IP48 ratings this time, such as Samsung’s Z Flip 6 foldables. This means that they are completely water-resistant, but dust is still a concern. That “4” rating means that the phones are preserved against the particles larger than 1 mm, but the dust is smaller than this, so you still want to be careful if you bring your rajar to the beach. Otherwise, standard razr and razr plus are very minor fresh. The Razr Plus still uses a Snapdragon 8S General 3 chipset like the previous year’s model, although RAZR receives a collision from 7300x chipset to 7300x chipset.
Remember AI button on Ultra? Well, Motorola is formally introducing several AI features in the RAZR lineup, most of which we have seen first in beta. They are all placed in an interface called Moto AI, which is available for all three razrs – although there is only a physical shortcut button to reach there in Ultra. And honestly they look more promising than the normal AI gimmick – although there are also AI gimmicks here. I am particularly interested in seeing how “how it remembers” works. It is designed in the same vein as a pixel screenshot and nothing is the required place, which offers a place to keep screenshots, photos and notes, to find them in different apps without different apps.
You can ask Moto AI to “remember” something and then you can ask about it later. You can also indicate it with “catch me up” to summarize recent information that comes during being busy. Work may be done! Motorola has also announced a partnership with perplexity, which you can access through Moto AI, and some forecast suggestions also help in power. But as right now with all AI features, we need to see if it really does so before being very excited.

There is no wooden grain option on regular razr or razr plus, BooBut there are many new colors and finish to choose. Last year’s Mocha Mousse returned to Razr Plus, and the standard razr comes in a fun Minty Green that continued to hold my eye at the launch event of Moto.
The price of non-altra razrs is similar to their predecessors -2025 RAZR Plus $ 999 and $ 699 for RAZR. All three phones will be available for pre -order in the US on May 7 and will go on sale on 15 May.
