MSI Claw A8 is now available for pre-order in Europe. This is important because this is the first time the new gaming handheld is available in the markets outside China. Although we do not yet have North American release date, this news gives us hope in those states that we will see that MSI’s machine soon reaches our shore.
Per Videocardz Report, Alza and European Sellers Smerty.sk The current MSI Claw A8 is priced at € 975 and € 978 (respectively). It is slightly lower than the current MSI Claw 8 AI+, which retails for $ 999. Austria, Germany and Slovakia are the first European countries that can pre-order MSI’s new handheld, although none of the above retailers say when the claw A8 will start shipping.
As we have mentioned, MSI Claw A8 will be the first gaming handheld to use one AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme ProcessorThis can make it the most powerful Windows 11 Handheld yet. At its top, the claw A8 has a more ergonomic design and even comes in a bold new neon green color. All this is with the same 80Wh battery, up to 24GB with RAM and 8-inch 1080p 120Hz display.
In MSI Plaw A8 Hands-on Preview, Jason England said he was inspired by Handheld’s gaming performance. When playing PK lies On Asas Rose EllieHe sets the game in medium graphical settings and turns on resolution scaling to get 60 frames per second. With these similar settings, P’s lies ran at a stunning 100 fps. We will need to bring in our laboratory for formal testing, but Jason’s experience is at hand.
I was disappointed with the original MSI Claw 7But the company made a major improvement with MSI Claw 8+ AI. Now that MSI is using an AMD chip for Paw A8, we can see the strongest steam deck competitors yet.
For North American pricing, I would not be surprised if the cost of MSI Paw 8 is like claws 8AI+like $ 999. A low price will be better, but given its updated glasses and uncertainty with US tariffs, I am not sure that MSI can greatly reduce the price. I hope I am wrong about it, but we will hope that we will soon hear about a North American release.
