When an insurer moves to large risks – whether it is covering homes, cars, or health care – it often turns to re -genres such as the Munich Ray Group to absorb the cost of dreaded damage caused by disasters.
As one of the world’s largest rehabilitation companies, Munich Ray Group It is operated through three brands. Munich Ray Handles the rehabilitation side of the business, Consequently Sells direct insurance to businesses and individuals, and Meg Investment manages both Munich Ray and Argo’s investment assets. Together, they create a global powerhouse in risk management.
Over time, however, the global scale came up with a challenge: the company’s cyber security services did not coordinate with the size and complexity of Munich. Within each brand, commercial units had their own IT and security departments, working on their network. Many of these units came through the acquisition, so they were established differently from the beginning.
This patchwork structure made it difficult to effectively manage security in the organization. The security teams, although highly efficient, were scattered around the world and were working in silos with various devices, processes and levels of maturity.
