Since we are almost at the end of the year, I will first come out and say that Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 The best foldable phone I have tested in 2025. It beats what Google, Motorola and OnePlus are offering, and Samsung has offered upgrade, which is meaningful enough to warrant acclade.
This is why during the sale of Amazon’s October Prime Day, Samsung’s flagship foldable is worth accepting the latest discounts. If you are attaching an unlocked model without a wire (read: lockd career plan and trade-in requirements), now is the best time to pull the trigger.

I tested Z fold 7 in this summer and was quickly amazed by the new and better form factor. This year’s Samsung Foldable has introduced its thinning and lightest design at any time, so that I got an air to change my traditional handset with it.
Fortunately, the slim-down design does not compromise much with the performance, as the Z fold 7 is equipped with the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Chipset, 12 GB RAM and 200 MP main camera that is found on the Flagship S25 Ultra model. Increased camera has been a long defect of Z -fold series, so it is great to see Samsung to correct your way in 2025.
Review: The most impressive piece of tech that I have tested in 2025 (and it’s not smart glasses)
On one hand, the Z fold 7 remains a great device for multitasking, gaming and any other mobile needs, requiring a large screen. When manifest, an 8-inch internal display is ideal for open split-screen apps, floating windows and more. Personally, I am taking advantage of additional real estate to compare the prices of Uber and Lyft, when I am traveling, browse restaurants in my neighborhood, and play games while watching the game.
All this usually comes at a high cost, with Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 You want to cost above $ 2,120 depending on the amount of Aadhaar memory. But for a limited time, Amazon is selling both storage tier at a discount of $ 400. This applies to both 256GB and 512GB variants.
Foldable phones are still very expensive, so we can take anything that we can find. The deal is also for unlocked models, so you are not bound to use it strictly with a carrier for many years.
