Koala cleaning kit with a pair of glasses.
Kayla Solino/ZDNET
When I was 18 months old, I wore prescription glasses, so I am confident when I tell you that I know a lot about keeping the lens clean and preserved – so I have practiced more than 20 years.
However, it may seem that you can clean your sunglasses or glasses with any old “glass cleaner”, or something simple as soap and water, I am here to tell you that it can be a very large (and expensive) mistake. Most glass cleaning products (even dish soaps) can be much more abrasive and rigid on special lenses and damage protective coatings for UV, dazzling, blue light and much more. Of course, clean at your own risk, but I have damaged my lens coating once with plain soaps and water, and there is no fix other than receiving new lenses of the brand.

And like glasses, the screen on your technical products should be handled with excessive care. Lucky for you, I am sharing one of my best secrets that can easily clean the lens and screen without cleaning. Meet Caul cleaner,
The coola cleaner is my all -time favorite cleaning product for my glasses, and it has been for many years. Nothing does not crisp my lens or the crystal is clear as the coal, and the involved ke-cloth (which is made of Japanese microfiber) is best for cleaning. It puts dozens of other microfiber clothes that I have used in shame, and I can always tell when I have not used one.
Caoala cleaner is available on Amazon 2 piece, 4-tukraAnd 6 piece The set is coming in, with the smallest set starting at $ 8 and the largest in $ 18. I have bought many recurrences of these kits over the years, but a 2-tukra set is a great place to start the set if you are buying for the first time or want to try it. The koala cleaner (about 275 sprays) included in this kit is a 2-oups bottle and a ke-cloth microfiber cleaning cloth under $ 10.

Koala states that its cleaner is safe for glasses and sunglasses, coated lenses, electronic displays and more. It is alcohol-and ammonia free and made in America. The microfiber cloth catches and catches and it is easy to wash and reuse.

As the lucky winner of a vision in both eyes, the coola retains my special lens coating, while still scrubbing distant streaks, grim, and more. And I successfully used this cleaner on almost every technical product, and it also cleanses the screen safely and effectively. I personally have used coola cleaner on my iPhone, iPad, Macbook Pro M3, HP Envy X360, Kindle Paperwhite, Apple Watch Se, Canon Rebel Eos T7 camera, and more. Here is a large breakdown of products that Koala says that it is compatible with its cleaner:
- Glasses (Premium coated, blue-light, polarized, etc.)
- Lens (Camera lens, binoculars, binoculars, microscope, etc.)
- technology (VR headset, smartphone, laptop, screen, tablet, car display, etc.)
There are also many other screen cleaning options. ZDNET’s Adrian Kingsley-Hughes like Woosh screen cleaner – The same product he says that some Apple stores use dozens of screens to clean. Woosh Apple advertises itself as “approved cleaner” for apple products, but eventually, it grabbed a market. The cooala kit does a lot of the same thing (clean screen), is inexpensive, and on an average with an average of 4.6/5 star ratings by more than 55,000 customers. The bottom line it works $ 8 kit – and well.

Here are some general cleaning tips, which I like to follow while cleaning my screen with the coola cleaner:
- Do not spray the liquid directly on the display – first spray on the cloth. Then wipe.
- If there is an abrasive material on the screen -such as sand – Use a soft brush To remove it.
- Wipe the entire body of your device, avoid internal entrance gates such as charging ports.
- Consider cleaning the case of your device according to the manufacturer’s instructions. I am a fan of disinfectant wipes in most cases.
- Wash the copade regularly so that it is ready for next time.
Why do I recommend this product
The cooala cleaning kit has everything that I need to place my glasses and screen under $ 10 in smashes, dirt and streak-free. It is inexpensive and functional, and the microfiber cloth is reusable.
