Wherever I go – whether I am traveling in the UK or abroad – I bring a universal travel adapter with me. They are the perfect companions to charge my gadgets with their compact form and selection of ports.
In the last few weeks, I am testing Basic Energor CG11 6 -in -1 Universal Travel AdapterAnd it has come out as the best engineer travel adapter used so far.

On the first blush – and it initially fooled me – Enercor CG11 looks like any other travel adapter. It is a palm -shaped cube, which measures 3.3 x 2.2 x 2 inches and weighs half a pound, with some liver and a variety of ports. It is compatible with every power outlet and every voltage and frequency around the world, which you will face. Whether you are in America, Europe, Asia or Australia, this unit has covered you.
The rating, 70W, emerged at the front. It does not do much in the face of the chargers that go up to 140W and beyond, but it is fine for most devices and will charge large equipment such as MacBook professionals that are commonly connected to beef chargers, at a slow rate.
Given that Enercore CG11 uses the latest GAN transistor, more compact and power efficient than old silicone semiconductors, you may be surprised why the unit produces only 70W. Engineers left the room for USB-C cable.

Yes this is right. This universal travel adapter has its own underlying, withdrawal of 27-inch USB-C cable that comes out from one side of the unit. The cable is flat and braided, very resistant to wearing. The retractor has five length presets, and it is overall very smooth and reliable. It can also handle the 70W maximum in itself, the perfect for low and high-draw devices.
The underlying cable means that no one can “borrow” it!

There are three more USB ports at the bottom of the unit: a USB-C port with a maximum output of maximum 60W, one and USB-A port with a maximum output of 60W, and another USB-A port for 5W is good, which is perfect for low-draw devices. Using all four ports, the unit can push the maximum of 60W out.
But this is also not everything. Most universal travel adapters that I have done are AC prongs coming out of the middle of the unit, which can top the unit in some AC outlets (I am looking for you, European Union’s outlets).
This can also lead to hanging the unit from the outlet, resulting in disconnecting. Basic solved it by putting the prong near the top, so it fits better in the ports.

The adapter is also marketed as a “cruise approved”, which means that the unit does not have a built-in surge protection-a feature that is considered a fire threat on the cruise vessels-and it is designed to fit into a low-clearance cabin outlet.
I have tried the right fit in every power outlet.

Surge-protection, on one side, the unit is packed with safety features, from a fused 10A supply (it comes with an additional fuse), overpower, overvoltage, overheating and short-circuit security, and fireproof polycarbonate.

Why do I recommend this product
First, the price is correct. Now, Basic anarkor cg11 There is only $ 36, which is a theft for a universal travel adapter of this quality.
Enercore CG11 is also just so well engineer and is well kept together. The location of AC prongs may look like a small thing, but it creates a big difference for the adapter’s projection. Returning USB-C reel is also super handi, and it means that I have always found a cable on the hand (and it is not one that someone else can “borrow” and forget to bring back!).
Overall, I recommend this adapter for my thoughtful design features, which makes it stand between the sea of travel adapter.
