NASA has resumed its pirate re -combination and tail electrodynamics reconnaissance satellites (trasers) to provide more time to prepare the mission crew. This mission is about a pair of satellite about how solar wind interacts with the magnetosfier of the Earth and interacts in the surrounding area of the Earth dominated the magnetic field of our planet. Understanding and eventually anticipation of how energy from our sun enters our planet and can affect assets based on space and Earth depends on research in this interaction.
Mission
As NASAThe Space Launch Complex 4 East will be launched on the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from the Space Launch Complex 4 East at the Wandenberg Space Force Base in California. The twin spacecraft will travel at a distance of about 341 miles from the planet through polar cups, which is a small area of the Earth’s magnetic field, where the solar air is concentrated and funnel in our atmosphere.
To check the location and frequency of an event known as magnetic re -combining magnetic re -combining near the exterior boundaries of the Earth’s magnetic field, the tracer mission will fly into the North Polar Tail several times each day.
Explosive energy transfer where two magnetic fields are found, especially in the magnetopose field where solar air meets the magnetosfier of the Earth, is called magnetic re -combination. This phenomenon can cause solar air particles to enter the atmosphere at a high speed, igniting northern and southern lights, but can also cause dangerous conditions for astronauts and satellites, which damages the ground infrastructure, communication signals and aviation.
Mission
David Miles is leading the tracer mission at the University of Iowa and is managed by the South West Research Institute at San Antonio. The Heliophysics Division at the NASA headquarters in Washington looked at the project through the Heliophysics Explorers Program Office at the agency’s Goddard Space Flight Center at Greenbelt, Maryland. As part of the agency’s VADR (dedicated and rideshair) contract of the agency, the launch service is being provided by NASA’s Launch Services Program, headquartered by NASA’s Science Mission Directorate at the agency’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
